So glad that I tried the unscented; our vet recommended unscented due to some of the chemicals in kitty litter can harm their paws....our kitty's paws are seeming so much better...didn't know that unscented cat litter could work so good! Thanks Fresh Step!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many times I purchase a product that proclaims to be UNSCENTED and it's not. The Freshstep Ultra Unsented really is UNSCENTED. My cat, 'tilley, and I don't like anything scented and Freshstep fits the bill for both of us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat lets us know after he's used his litter box--he wants it cleaned out immediately! So I don't have any issue with controlling odors. What matters to me is that the litter is unscented as as dust free as possible ... and that my cat likes it. This litter does all that! I really like when cleaning out the box, the waste doesn't fall apart before I can get in a trash bag--I don't have to vacuum every time after I clean the box!

I have asthma so it's great for that, but I found I also don't have that "phantom litter smell" in my nose hours after cleaning the box. And it clumps really well, and no litter box odor! I buy it all the time now. Can't recommend it enough!!

I've used this brand and product for years (10+ years) and recommended it to new cat parents, but something has changed in the formula. Its now no longer free from fragrance, the product is scented and has a strong scent. The formula has definitely changed and is now unusable. Its not what it says on the box, find another brand!

I am very sensitive to scents, therefore I need an unscented litter and Fresh Step unscented formulas work great without irritating either my or my kitty's noses! Plus it's easy to scoop and heavy enough that my cat does not scatter it everywhere. Really appreciate this litter which I've used for years.

We've been using this litter for two months now and there's no way I could ever go back to scented litter. No fake icky fragrance to cover up smells, but it still does a great job of neutralizing odors! Clumps well, but our kitties still track out quite a bit.

After trying a few other types of litter, I came across Fresh Step Simply Unscented. This product truly delivers on being unscented. I also love that the clumps dont fall apart when I scoop. As an added bonus, it doesnt create tons of dust like previous litters I've tried.
