I'm yet another very long-time customer completely dissatisfied with the current Simply Unscented litter. It is NOT even close to the previous boxes of the litter. I am thoroughly disappointed and will have to try other brands. My biggest problem now is how to dispose of the current box of lousy litter. Fresh Step: what were you thinking? You had a great product. Now you have a really bad one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter is perfect! I'm not a fan of scented litter, and this eliminates odors instead of just covering them with a heavy perfume scent. You'd never guess we had cats! No smell, clumps tightly, and works awesome!

My first choice was an arm and hammer scented litter and it smelled horrible!! The dust was unreal. So, I switched to fresh step ultra unscented and was amazed! Who would have thought an unscented litter could smell so good. The dust is non existent. She doesn't track it every where like the arm and hammer. I love fresh step. I won't switch. The price is reasonable as well.

I bought this for my 4 month old kitten and he loves it! I like it even more. There is no smell (other brands cause the poop smell to waft throughout the room) and minimal tracking. It's easy to scoop and no issues at all! Clumping works like a charm. Good things all around.

I too noticed the change, when I first opened box, color & texture was different in the last 3 boxes I bought. Thought it was a mistake. I have been using unscented, low dust for years as my old cat ( now deceased) sneezed with fragrance kind) I still use unscented/ low dust. BUT it now has left ALOT of dust in my laundry room where her cat box is. Only a slight fragrance. Why change it when it was working?

I have gotten this from my local shelter twice when I got both of my cats and i was skeptical that it was not gonna hide the cats smells but it definitely lasted. I do struggle with the cardboard boxes every time to have it pour out litter. As well as the codes are easy to read but the paw points would not recognize it. But Coustmer service fixed it for me and gave me points!

We've been using original Freshstep got sometime..always satisfied ..tried the new dust free..I didn't like it...neither did our Cats...they refused to us the bod after a couple of days..thank goodness we have another with original in it...I don't blame the Cats. They have to dodge boulders and bricks made by the product...also makes no more work for me culling these rocks and bricks. No thanks...on a high note we will....continue to use original!..Tom K.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Fresh Step for my 2 cats. They favor unscented cat litter so this product is perfect for them! It doesn't track kitty litter through the house and it clumps nicely so clean-up is a breeze! Also provides great odor control.

I have used the Simply Unscented litter for years and ABSOLUTELY HATE the new formula. I can live with dust but mud I can’t. The new formula is horrible to scoop and my 15 cats sling muddy litter all over the walls trying to get it off their paws. Now I have to use another brand because theirs is now better than Fresh Step.
