[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though this product is unscented, it still has a fresh smell to it, which is nice. The last litter I used had a perfume-like smell, a lot of dust that made me sneeze and the litter was shaped in tiny balls that would roll many feet across the floor away from the box. When I first tried the Ultra Unscented, I put it in its own litter box next to the others with the old litter and it became the cats' favorite. They really seem to prefer the unscented quality and I definitely prefer the lower dust content and stay-put shape. This litter makes clean up a much faster and sneeze-free chore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat seems to like this litter. It works like the other litter that I have tried in the past. I got the incentive because I've been told since it isn't really good to get for cats. My cat didn't seem to mind a brand difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ms. Suki seems very happy with her fresh smelling box. All my cats have always been happy with Fresh Step, even before the clumping litter came along. I do prefer the clumping because it is so much easier to keep the box clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh step litter was a decent option over the Arm and hammer I was using. I like that it came in a variety of choices. The price was decent. But my cat seemed to like the texture of her old litter better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been relying on Fresh Step for two years regarding my kitty's litter. After a couple of tries I ended up with SIMPLY UNscented and found it to be the best for our household. Even unscented it controls odors.

The stuff used to be so good. I’ve been using it for over seven years for my cats, my house has never smelled like cat litter even in the same room as the litter buckets. But suddenly the last two cases have been a completely darker color and different consistency, they have a floral sent to them as soon as you open the bag, and my house smells like litter as soon as you walk in the door. Even the clumps are weird and soft and cemented to the little box. I don’t know what happened to this product, but it is not the same, and I am extremely unhappy.

Very disappointed you have changed this once great product. When i poured it I thought I bought the wrong thing. I agree with all the similar comments here. Please return to the original formula. Now I have to get something else. Cannot trust Fresh Step.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER DRUG THIS HOME WHEN I SAID WE NEEDED LITTER. I MENTIONED ARM & HAMMER, NO PERFUME. WHEN I SAW THIS I THOUGHT, "OH, BROTHER!"... BUT WHEN I USED IT I SAID, "I DON'T BELIEVE IT, IT REALLY IS UNSCENTED AND WORKS BETTER THAN ANYTHING I'VE EVER USED!"

One of my favorite litters. I'm sensitive to smells, and I want my two cats to be happy, so I like unscented. It is very lightly scented, but it's not bad. And it keeps odors down really well. My cats have never had problems with it (nor have they with any other litter, though. Just fyi). I wish we had recycling services here for the box, though.
