I have a new kitten and have been trying different litters. When I tried the scented litters and noticed my kitten sneezed a lot. Switching to unscented litter made all the difference. However they are not the same. This product has been the best. I even got my sister to switch brands.

I stopped using fresh step a while but returned just for this product, low dust and 4 individual packages in 42lb size. low dust is huge for me and the kids, but it would be awesome and more respectful to say ‘odorless for 10 days if you have 1 7oz kitten’ Size does matter my cats range from 4-13lbs it takes so long to absorb the liquid they don’t hang around to cover things they left and if they do it’s dirty paws for them which they promptly wash in their drinking water. Don’t get me wrong this is an industry wide issue, some vendors provide you with a one lb bag guaranteed to last a month. Uhmmm soooo tempted to send them a days worth of waste product from 6 boxes, because it just is laughable. Right now your back to my favorite litter, from what is available, ty. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three cats and the Fresh Step litter works really good. I have tried other litters in the past and they did not work as well. My cats seem to like it and I like the fact that it is unscented.

Switched to this after trying many others, one of my kitties has itch problems, and I could tell whenever he had just been to the litter box. This product does not seem to bother him, AND it is less dusty and tracks less than anything else I have ever used!!

I buy this litter for my cats. I always find the scented litter smell and the feces smell combined quite bad smelling. This unscented litter works great as it clumps fast. I have 2 cats and they font mind sharing 1 litter box with this litter. I will continue to buy this type and brand.

I bought this two months ago after injuring my back. My prior litter came in 35 pound bags which I am no longer allowed to lift. The Fresh Step boxes are easy to carry and manage and do not strain my back, so a Plus for the human side. On the kitty side, I left one litter box full of the prior brand of litter and filled the second litter box with this UltraUnscented Fresh Step litter. Within a week, about 75% of the cat deposits were in the Fresh Step litter box, so it appears all three cats approve. Back to the human side, this litter clumps very hard and it does not retain a smell so I am able to simply add more litter to top off the level and then I change it out once a month. A winner for both human and kitties!

My Cat of 17 Years has developed allergies so I had to switch to the unscented Fresh Step. It works just as good as the scented. I don't know why I didn't try this first as fragrance bothers me as well.I should have never doubted Fresh Step when it comes to preforming equally with or without the fresh scents made to help mask odors. Now its a Win Win for us all.

I love that Fresh Step has unscented products. Works fine for clumping, though my cats track this everywhere. Not sure how this product is different from simply unscented. New box materials make it all but impossible to retrieve paw points codes inside the box, so I won't be participating in code collection anymore.

I had been using the Breeze system with the pads and pellets and I am not sure if the formula changed or my cat's urine is just too strong for that system, but it did not work for me at all. There was a continuous odour and it was very unpleasant. I switched to Fresh Step and I'm glad I did! This litter is very fine, so I'm thinking it's probably much better on my cat's feet. This litter does not stick to her and clumps fine. There is absolutely no odour which is a huge plus. My cat seems happier as well, so that is what's important.

What's going on with your Simply Unscented Free From Added Fragrances and Dyes Litter? The last two purchases I made (10 lb. bags and 25 lb. box) are not fragrance free and the granules are almost sand like, leaving dust everywhere. Please go back to the original formula or I'm done purchasing this product, which is the litter my cats liked the most (until recently). I just added litter to my cat's box upstairs and I can smell the fragrance downstairs in my living room. This is false advertising and you need to correct this now!
