The Fresh Step Ultra Unscented kitty litter I still can't make up my mind on whether to love it or dread the thought of it. The initial dust cloud on pouring into the litter box is just about the same but slightly better than my other name brand litter. The odor control works well with 2 adult cats and a kitten with 2 litter boxes. The clumping is horrible and gooey and makes the litter box a nightmare to clean and sanitize. Honestly I'm still on the fence and am going to try mixing it with my old brand.

This is mostly all I buy. sometimes I buy the multi cat one but this is my favorite one. People come to my house and don't even know I have a cat. I have tried other brands but I buy only fresh step. It works. I have seven cats and you would not know it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have 6 cats and a litter box in the kitchen. Previous brand was soooo dusty. Fresh step Low dust..is truly lower dust. Unscented is great because I hate smelling litter as an air freshner. If a NO DUST formula was made i would be in heaven

Originally purchased the new low track version but the cats still tracked litter - just larger pieces of litter but I liked the tighter clumping. With the old formula after a few cleanings the litter that remained just didn't clump as tightly and they would crumble when scooped but not the new ultra unscented - clumps tight straight on through litter box clean out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought other litter when we got our first cat but noticed she was sneezing all the time. I switched to the low dust unscented litter and the sneezing stopped! I scoop once daily and there is no odor problem at all.

After adopting 2 cats, I was searching for a clumping litter that wouldn’t track all over the house and also mask odor. This litter has no perfume smell but is able to cover completely keep our bathroom odor free with every other day scooping and once weekly changing the litter.

I've been using this litter for a few months now. It's very effective at controlling odors without any of the added perfumes or scents (Febreeze, Gain, etc). I used buy the Febreeze version of this, but my cat seems to be more accepting of the unscented, which means fewer messes to clean up.

The liter is easy to pick up and since my cats have allergy, I find that the cats adjust to the unscented easily. However, when pouring into the liter box, dust is created and floats through the air covering the surfaces around it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using Fresh Step for over 20 years. Tried others and always come back. Works great. Presently have 2 cats with 2 boxes. Clean then 2-3x week. Have had up to 4 cats with 3 boxes and have always been happy. Box is located in basement. Have had it in small alcove off living room and smell was never an issue; moved to basement when curious dog joined the household. We use two mats and still get some liter outside the boxes and tracked about 4-5 feet away. We use unscented because of cats strong noses.

with a strong sensitivity to smell and severe allergies - i love this litter for its odor control without any kind of fragrance.. it clumps beautifully - and has very little dust .. its one of the cheapest litters especially for the quality! plus my extremely picky cat uses it without issue
