[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wish Fresh Step would follow in the footsteps of this product. My cat hates anything with a scent and this is literally the only type she uses. If I buy another type then she will refuse to go in her litterbox which just makes both of us unhappy.

Once again a good and trusted product changed for the worse! I instantly smelled a strong smell and thought I’d gotten the scented instead of unscented! I have allergies and asthma which I started having problems with, but to make matters worse, one of my cats lost her hair off around her butt!! She also started biting her paws, stomach & her tail. My other cat, already has neuropathy, I started examining her and she had also lost hair on her stomach and tail. I have a litter robot which I had to replace the motor because the amount of dust had clogged up the sensors; which I have to now repeatedly take it apart to clean so it doesn’t get clogged up again. Everyone is correct, it doesn’t clump as it once did, their waste stays moist which makes it smell even with odor control packets and the dust is horrible!! This new formula is no longer unscented, my kitties keep losing or pulling their hair out and get congested not to mention my symptoms; all the while I’m trying to find another litter we 3 can tolerate. I’ve used Fresh Step unscented seemingly forever. I’m now 70, lost my dear Kayla after 17 years, Mittens is 6 & Sky is 3. I feel like I’m torturing them using this “new formula” that sounds like has not done very many loyal buyers any favors.

This liter is so great. Certain scents and sometimes strong scents trigger headaches. This litter is scent free and weirdly low on dust, Even though it's scent free it keeps the liter box fresh and ammonia free smelling so my home doesnt smell like i own several indoor cats.

I find this to be leagues more effective than Simply Unscented, which makes a big difference when you have 2+ cats. My mom is both allergic to perfumes and cats, so having actually odor reduction in combination with the lack of perfume was a huge plus when I needed to stay with her, avec felines :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love the weight to keep litter box in place and it really is less dusty. i have a hard time finding the stuff without the febreeze in it though. and it makes my cat sneeze and i hate the perfumey cover up smell!

The single 42 LB container (one flexible bag and not the plastic containers like shown) that was delivered is terrible because the original bag would not open after the zipper was opened and the plastic bag was sealed way to deep on the top and caused the whole bag to tear open and split apart below the zipper, thus the zipper recloseing was useless and also after the bag was torn actual edge opening was melted down together on approx. a 45 degree on both ends next to and just bellow the zipper ends. These were the ones I received delivered and on-line from Sam's Club.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like this product. I ran out of litter & borrowed from my daughter. Muffin & I love this. It easier for me to clean her pan & she doesn't get the "running eyes" from the dust, the other type had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot stand any scented litters, and this Fresh Step unscented brand(like all their others) is excellent. No scent, keeps my cats poop smell at bay, and clumps well. Will continue to buy any Fresh Step unscented brands.

I bought this recently and have been very impressed with the clumping, much less scraping of the bottom of the pan. and the odor control is good for 2 cats. I don't like buying the scented litters especially since I have a special needs cat who might me more sensitive to things like that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using Fresh Step for over 20 years. Tried others and always come back. Works great. Presently have 2 cats with 2 boxes. Clean then 2-3x week. Have had up to 4 cats with 3 boxes and have always been happy. Box is located in basement. Have had it in small alcove off living room and smell was never an issue; moved to basement when curious dog joined the household. We use two mats and still get some liter outside the boxes and tracked about 4-5 feet away. We use unscented because of cats strong noses.
