This is the only litter that works well and doesn’t make our cat sick. She kept getting sick and the vet said it was from the fragrances in the litters. We love this one. Just wish it was in stock when we need it. Sometimes it goes for quite awhile being out of stock. We would purchase it in store in our club if it was available. Excellent product and the only one our cat can use

I was pleased with my purchase of the unscented clumping litter. I will purchase Fresh Step in the future if the price is right.

I've used this brand and product for years (10+ years) and recommended it to new cat parents, but something has changed in the formula. Its now no longer free from fragrance, the product is scented and has a strong scent. The formula has definitely changed and is now unusable. Its not what it says on the box, find another brand!

There has only ever been a couple litters I have felt were good and this brand is one of them. Most litters are very generic and basic. Fresh Step is dependable and does the job each and every time. No litter box odors, great clumping power. Always on our shopping list.

I am a long term user of Fresh Step Simply unscented cat litter. My Gracie is 13 years of age, seems like this is all I have ever used with her. About 4 months ago when I opened a new box of it, I FREAKED! Looked like a box of dirt! I was so happy with my Fresh Step of 13 years. Why they changed it is beyond me. It was always purrfect for my household. I am not so sure I am pleased with it now? I am on the fence. Does not clump as well. Leaves some crumbles. I am not as pleased due to this problem. But time will tell. At this time, I can not recommend this product. Due to poor quality, but there may be a very good reason for the change. Both my girls have adjusted to the change very nicely. When I used the first box with the noted change, Buffy "the Diva" kept pooping outside the box. But now she seldom does this. Since both my girls are declawed, I think it is difficult at times for her to dig in so much clay. This is my idea of the problem. Like I said, I am on the fence about increase in the clay. I may be forced to make a change. Time will tell.

with a strong sensitivity to smell and severe allergies - i love this litter for its odor control without any kind of fragrance.. it clumps beautifully - and has very little dust .. its one of the cheapest litters especially for the quality! plus my extremely picky cat uses it without issue

Don't buy any scented stuff, or stuff with baking soda or whatever; Harry will not use it. Thank you for making this UNSCENTED product for us.

We've now been using Fresh Step for over a year without problems. It never smells, even if we go for longer than we should before cleaning it, and the cats love it. They used to go outside the litter if it was dirty, but they haven't done that since the first day we used Fresh Step. Happy customers here!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat lets us know after he's used his litter box--he wants it cleaned out immediately! So I don't have any issue with controlling odors. What matters to me is that the litter is unscented as as dust free as possible ... and that my cat likes it. This litter does all that! I really like when cleaning out the box, the waste doesn't fall apart before I can get in a trash bag--I don't have to vacuum every time after I clean the box!
