We love using the 42lb size of Ultra Unscented Clumping litter. We love the Ultra Unscented variety but hated opening the boxes. No more struggling. We typically used to buy several boxes at a time which meant lots of trips back and forth. Now we can buy the larger bags which are easy to use and create less waste.

The latest formulation that started arriving earlier this summer is absolutely awful. Wet spots are smelly and sticky. But also crumbly when scooped. And worst of all ... stick to the cats feet and form cement blocks that are impossible and painful to remove. Tracks everywhere all the time.

Not only does the litter have little dust when scooping or pouring, but you would never even know that there was a cat living in the home. There isn't even a scent when you go into the bathroom where the litter box is kept. It definitely does what it says!!

I have purchased almost every cat litter that there is to find one that works with a multi-cat house and one that is almost dust free,... Fresh Step Ultra Unscented is the BEST litter available! I have 4 cats and surprisingly there is no smell of litter or used litter or anything! The dust is just about non-existent as well. I no longer have that litter dust film over my furniture! My cats are much happier too! They can now breath easier!

The Fresh Step Simply Unscented low dust formula really is a low dust formula. There is still dust, but not nearly as much as others I've tried. This litter also clumps extremely well. The only downfall is breaking down the box flat for recycling or the trash bin. I have to take a flat screwdriver and pry the flaps open. But I do like that it's in a cardboard box verses a plastic bucket or thin bag.

I've used Fresh Step for years. I don't like my cat inhaling litter dust and this formula gives off very little dust. I also don't like using litter that relies on perfumes to mask odors but it's hard to find unscented formulas. Despite the fact that it's unscented, I never smell anything. I won't use anything else.

My cat has developed asthma and I was told to get an unscented litter. After years of using a different brand, I found myself purchasing the Unscented - Low Dust Fresh Step! Love it! Wish I would have tried this brand sooner! Great clumping and no little bits that fall apart! Costs a little more, but so worth it! You cannot go wrong with Fresh Step.

All my kitties seem to like the texture too. Thanks for a great unscented litter as they are so hard to find!

When I first got my cat, I believed that unscented products were better than scented because I believed they had less chemicals and all that. I learned that’s not necessarily true. This litter will smell bad after one day even after you clean your cat’s litter box. Definitely recommend the other products. I come to Fresh Step specifically for the scented litter that doesn’t keep my place smelling foul!
