I bought this after trying countless unscented litters, I guess my 2 cats have really stinky deposits and no litter was able to control the smell—it was always egregious. Finally I came across this one, and FINALLY you can't smell a thing (provided, of course, that I empty it every day)! The litter does track out a bit, and there is some dust, but also way less than many other litters advertised as low to no dust and non-tracking. I do wish they could create a way so that litter doesn't get stuck inside the creases of the packaging so it makes it easier to recycle, but other than that, it's a winner for sure!!

The formula has changed, it is terrible now! Dusty and no longer clumps. I have four 10-year old cats and used this litter for years, was very impressed and happy with the quality, no longer. I will be changing my auto-delivery to a litter that actually works and doesn’t require a shower after cleaning the boxes. The dust is absolutely horrible.

I am very sensitive to scents, therefore I need an unscented litter and Fresh Step unscented formulas work great without irritating either my or my kitty's noses! Plus it's easy to scoop and heavy enough that my cat does not scatter it everywhere. Really appreciate this litter which I've used for years.

My husband brought this home 2 weeks ago because finding unscented litter is very difficult. I am very sensitive to odors, especially perfume or artificial scent types of odors. Even a slight whiff can give me a terrible headache. Of course we don't want the house to smell like a litter box either, so it has been a difficult problem! This litter is just INCREDIBLE! It handles the odor with no problem. It doesn't get tracked all over the house. It is easy to scoop. It may be a little bit more expensive than some of the no-name brands, but it is well worth the price. It performs 100 times better than every other brand on the market, and it does it without an odor that makes me sick! Who could ask for more? I am very picky about what I am willing to pay more for, and I am willing to pay for this product. It is completely worth the price, especially as it is only a little bit more expensive than the other brands! This litter clumps solidly, making it easy to scoop. It does NOT turn into a mass of concrete on the bottom of the box. Other litters seem to do this, and it makes our cat incredibly unhappy. He will walk to his box and look at it, then come to us and meow until we go and chip the concrete like litter out and replace it. It is NOT fun at midnight, let me tell you!! This litter never creates this concrete mass in his box, so he doesn't get upset like that. It makes me a very happy mom to Captain Morgan (my cat). In our house, when Captain Morgan isn't happy, NO ONE is happy!! So we will be sticking with this litter, which sticks, but doesn't make concrete!

I switched to using this litter because the litter I was using before was making my cat unhappy. She would urinatee on my furniture. Now that I use this litter she is happy and only uses her litter. It is also relatively easy to clean and doesn't produce a foul smell. My mom recommended I use this litter for my cat and now I will never use anything else.

I love this litter! The clumps do not break up when scooping. There is no odor detectable in between litter changes. The new low dust formula really is low dust! The unscented formula is very important to me as I have read cats do not like scented litter.

Don't be misled by the name. Unscented doesn't mean it doesn't work at keeping down odors because it does. This is just one of the Fresh Step Litters I purchase regularly. I do buy what I can find. I like that this one is unscented and evidently so does our three cats. As with the other Fresh Step products, my cats and I love it. There's less tracking, more clumping and less odor using this one even though it is unscented. I wasn't disappointed. I shall buy again and have no hesitation recommending it to other cat owners. Great product for cat owners!

I've always bought the original clumping Fresh Step. Now that I'm in an apartment instead of a house, the scent was overpowering. This is great. It took the cat a couple minutes to figure out that this is her litter and not a new game, but she got it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We first bought another unscented cat litter only to find out it didn't do good with our cat or myself with allergies. It still had a fragrance. With Fresh Step Ultra Unscented there is no scent what so ever.
