[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a fantasyic coupon to try out Fresh Step Litter. I chose the odorless option, as ive recently adopted a litten. And have an adult cat already. I didnt want the kitten to be put off by fragrence but i wanted the litter to be effective enough for a two cat house hold. Ive filled and emptied the cat box once since tryinf this. Both cats took rite to it. My adult cat did notice i had used a different litter, but it really didnt seem to have any effect on him other wise. The kitten used the box too and when i cleaned the box, even with TWO cats using this box all week. It cleaned easy and wasnt super stuck on or hardened into one nasty clump, usually resulting in a huge mess when trying to dump it out. The dust wasnt bad at all. And it did a good job controlling the odor from their box through out the week with minimal matenience through out said week. I would deffinatly recommend Fresh Step litters. I wont be changing litter brands. But i would be open to trying some of Fresh Steps other Litter options. Like the scented ones and Ultra Odorless.

I was buying another Fresh Step litter until they were out of it at the store and I desperately needed litter so I saw this one and it had low track littler which is the only type I'll buy. I thought it was nice that it was cleaner because it didn't have any fragrance chemicals in it. I actually like it more than the one with the fragrance. It keeps the smells of the litter box away but without the fancy smells. Definitely going to buy this one from now on!

After many years of using a competitor's product, I switched one of our eleven litter boxes to Fresh Step as a test. The results were amazing! Fresh Step had A LOT less dust which helps our cat with asthma immensely. Fresh Step also clumped much better and STAYED that way when scooping it, unlike the competitor's. The best part though was the odor control. We have 9 cats and I work very hard to make sure our home never smells like a litter box. I don't buy scented litter because I don't want our cats ingesting the scent when they clean their paws. The Fresh Step Unscented Litter controlled the litter box odor without adding scent for our cats to ingest. We are so pleased with the results of my test that we are going to be switching ALL of our litter boxes over to Fresh Step!

I have used fresh step for years. I always used the regular one, but upon getting 2 new kittens decided to switch to unscented. I had read it is better for their health. It is great. It doesn't fill my home with fragrance, and it completely masks any smell they produce. It clumps beautifully and is easy to clean. the only issue I have is trying to pry the box open to get the code. I order it online so cant scan a receipt.

Over the years I have tried other cat litter brands but I always found myself coming back to Fresh Step. Recently I started purchasing the Fresh Step Unscented and at first I was not sure how well it would cover up odors because typically I bought the scented version of Fresh Step but I have been very impressed that this unscented litter covers odors as well as the scented varieties. I am a fan and will continue to purchase.

The price is ridiculous I mean a 38lb is what 20$ and this 42lbs is 35$ so you are telling me to get 4lbs more its 15$ why not just pay 40$ for 2 packs of 38lbs making that what 76lbs for 40$ rather than 35$ for 42lbs. Idk I find it kinda crazy hahah

I have been using Fresh Step unscented for years. My local store was out of the unscented so I tried the one with Fabreeze. The scented litter left an odor on her paws which means the chemicals were on her paws as well. That did not sit well with me so I will only use the unscented from now on.

I like this litter enough to have purchased it several times after trying several different brands/versions. I have two boxes and use this in the open box, it has a fresh smell but not enough to burn my throat or bother my cat like some others. The dust level is low for sure, I only notice dust starting at about the third week of scratching and scooping. I don't use this in my top entry box because of the fragrance. As far as tracking, this litter tracks a lot. My cat with short thick fur tracks this litter all the way to her bed and the bathroom that I have the box in has a lot of litter on the floor daily. I have watched her jump out of the box and leave litter in the shape of paws. She has somewhat deep pads on her paws and for comparison, she does not track the very fine litters that are out there. I'm not a big fan of the super fine litters though. All in all except for the tracking I like this enough to keep using it for now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In general, Fresh Step is the litter that performs best. It clumps tightly, and the odor control is excellent. My vet recommended that I start using an unscented litter when one of my cats was a having a health issue, and I realized how heavily scented other formulas are. This particular formula is also lower dust than others I've used, which is ultimately good for my cats. I now have 3 cats, and this formula has performed beautifully in a busy litter box!
