My husband is very sensitive to cat litter dust and the previous brand we used created a lot of it. A friend recommended Fresh Step Ultra Unscented to us and said she found it to have very low dust and it clumped very well. Man was she right. This litter produces very little dust which has made my husband very happy. It also the clumping ability is pure magic. Seriously, I don't have to worry about pieces of litter falling through the scoop. Everything stays in one piece. Fresh Step you have found a customer for life.

I have been buying Fresh Step for many, many years and Simply Unsented for 4 years and have been perfectly satisfied until my last purchase. You changed the formula and it's horrible. It doesn't clump like the previous formula. The urine breaks apart in small pieces and I have to scoop out small bits, not clumps! Go back to the old formula or I will be shopping for a new brand.

I've been a loyal Fresh Step clumping cat litter mom for many, many years and I have always been very happy with the product, until my last purchase. What ever Fresh Step changed now makes this the absolute worse! The clumps are sticking to the sides and bottom of the box, and I keep at least 4 inches of litter in each of my 7 boxes! When you scrap the clump up it breaks apart leaving tons of little pieces everywhere, leaving what looks like a dirty box. My six cats are very finicky about their boxes and litter and all have now started to roam from box to box looking for one that is "clean" with no left over clumps from the previous visitor. I typically clean the boxes 3 times a day ( you have to stay on top of it with six cats!) but now I'm constantly have to scoop to try to get to it before it cements to the sides or bottom of the box and endlessly trying to get all the small bits that broke off up out of the box. TERRIBLE!! Go back to what you guys were doing before because this change is not a good one!!

I switched to Fresh Step from being a long time user of Member's Mark brand of clumping cat litter but then noticed the cat litter was becoming more dusty and my one cat began developing skin condition. I switched to Fresh Step which had no dust and clumped very well!! Then my cat who's skin condition got better stopped using the litter box. I switched to this Ultra Unscented Litter & everyone's happy again!! Love this litter!!

Once I found this cat litter, I have never been tempted to try another. Extra benefit for me - I have allergies that are triggered by perfumes. This litter does not cause me any problems.

This is a great clumping litter and last a long time. I keep the litter box cleaned out frequently and then periodically add new litter to keep it fresh. I have not had any problems with my cat using it. It also is a low dust litter and doesn't create a lot of dust on furniture from sifting it when cleaning.

Have been a loyal customer buying this product for years. Difficultly sourcing about last 6 months. Just found & bought our regular “simply unscented,” but the box was incorrectly filled with unhealthy fragrances. Yuck! Added fragrances and dyes are unhealthy for all.

This stuff is my favorite. I purchased a very expensive self cleaning litter box which uses the crystals, long story short my cat did not enjoy it. She would use it for the first day then proceed to urinate on the carpet because her scent was there. This litter masks ALL smells. Would never purchase anything other than fresh step.

Not only does the litter have little dust when scooping or pouring, but you would never even know that there was a cat living in the home. There isn't even a scent when you go into the bathroom where the litter box is kept. It definitely does what it says!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I choose the unscented litters because 1) They are Fresh Step! duh! and 2) they are better for my cat with an upper respiratory chronic issue. It works just as well as scented litters and contains any unwanted smells until you can clean the box. (within reason!) My cat also does not like to cover his "presents" so it is extra nice that this litter works so well. :)
