I am very sensitive to scents, therefore I need an unscented litter and Fresh Step unscented formulas work great without irritating either my or my kitty's noses! Plus it's easy to scoop and heavy enough that my cat does not scatter it everywhere. Really appreciate this litter which I've used for years.

I am always surprised when I go into a home and smell litterbox smells. Our home never has that, and I've even had people surprised that we have a cat. The litterbox is actually in the living room (long story). There is just NO SMELL. I love this clumping litter. We have two cats, and even though we have three accessible litter boxes, they both use the one in the living room almost exclusively.

Initially, I purchased this litter a few years ago because my older cat has a history of urinary tract infections. I read that an unscented litter was best for this issue. Since then, he has had no other urinary issues. Although this litter is unscented, there is no odor from the litter box and low tracking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat is very spoiled and refuses to use any litter with a perfume (scented) smell. I find she will use the Ultra and I like the clumping feature. The box was a little difficult to get to the Paw Points. A little paper inside the box with the code (like your crystals litter) would be helpful instead. I only buy 14 lb. boxes because I find the larger boxes too heavy to lift.

I think I've bought every kind of litter out there and this is my new fave! The pee clumps fast and hard, so very easy to scoop the balls, rather than huge masses that fall apart. I use less and the litterbox stays fresher longer and the cats love it!

This product is the best I've ever used for my cat's litter box. Superior clumping and no odor! Ever!! I've recommended this product to friends, family and even strangers in the pet aisle at the supermarket!

I have used fresh step cat litter all of my adult life and I am nearly 60 years old. Recently, your product has changed It's formula. You had the best product on the market. Why change it? To save a little money? Your sales will definitely be declining. I am looking for another litter.

For people who don't feel the need for scented litter or have perfume allergies, this is a must... the clumping is great and it's hypoallergenic. I used this when I was abroad and it was the only non-clay litter... I paid double for it and it was still so worth it. It doesn't have the same odor-trapping capacity of some scented ones, in my opinion, but mixing in crystals would probably do the trick.

I have been buying Fresh Step for many, many years and Simply Unsented for 4 years and have been perfectly satisfied until my last purchase. You changed the formula and it's horrible. It doesn't clump like the previous formula. The urine breaks apart in small pieces and I have to scoop out small bits, not clumps! Go back to the old formula or I will be shopping for a new brand.

I love this unscented version and the new package. I’ve been using the regular big bag for years and it was ok, but carrying it from box to box was inconvenient and I didn’t have the unscented version. Unscented seems to have helped my cats to stop sneezing and no watery eyes. Maybe they are sensitive to the fragrances in the other flavors of litter.
