i've been using this litter for many years and now have to find some other brand. the new formula is nothing like the old one. it caused me to have an asthma attack just pouring it into the litter box. my cats refuse to use it at all. in their 8 years of life they have never had a litter box problem with the fresh step unscented. now they won't go near the box and they have peed and pooped everywhere in the house except the litter box. i'm a senior on a limited income and am now having to spend money on trying other brands that don't aggravate my asthma and that the cats will use.

I have been using this grit for many years and was always quite happy. I recently purchased the 42lb boxed bags from BJ's and I am really disappointed. The grit barely clumps at all which results in the cat making a big mess. I didn't know I could add a photo and I just cleaned the box so no photo available at the moment. I don't know if the formula has changed or I just got a bad lot but I will be looking for another brand as I don't want to waste my money trying the same brand and getting the same results.

I have tried less expensive kitty litter options which resulted in one of my cats snubbing the box. Fresh Step unscented kitty litter is truly without scent. I tried another brand that was advertised as "unscented," but it actually had an unpleasant odor. If you or your kitties are sensitive to litter odors and you want a high quality litter which is truly unscented, I highly recommend Fresh Start.

Love this litter! I don't like scented litter and believe it or not neither do my cats. They completely ignored the litter box with the scented litter. I clean the boxes everyday but find I don't need to dump the litter as often so saves me $$. Looking for this with clean paws, low tracking.

After trying so many brands for so long I finally have my go to litter! My kitty hates scented litter and refuses to use the box if there is even a bit of unnatural smell. She uses this with no issue and it locks in the smell! No more stinky kitty box! It smells like absolutely nothing near her litter box which is amazing. No litter smell, no potty smell. it is dust free as well which is great for obvious reasons (who likes smelly litter dust?) it truly clumps too, no more having to shovel out half clumped pee like I did with other brands. So happy to have found this litter!

It caused less dust in the air and lowered the amount of litter that was tracked out of the box. It definitely reduced the amount of odor from the box but it doesn't completely get rid of it. The Fresh Step Ultra Unscented kitty litter I still can't make up my mind on whether to love it or dread the thought of it. The initial dust cloud on pouring into the litter box is just about the same but slightly better than my other name brand litter. The odor control works well with 2 adult cats and a kitten with 2 litter boxes. The clumping is horrible and gooey and makes the litter box a nightmare to clean and sanitize. Honestly I'm still on the fence and am going to try mixing it with my old brand.

We have three cats and they love it. The unscented is just that you cant smell the cats and you cant smell the overbearing smell of the litter. It's wonderful! I've already told my Mom and my Sister about it I was so happy with it. I will definitely be buying it again.
