This litter has changed and not for the better. The formula being put out now does not clump well. I spend an extra 10 minutes have to pick out all the pieces of the clumps that will not stay together. I’ve used freshstep for decades and will have to find another litter because of course, a greedy company wants to keep their prices the same while letting their quality go downhill. It’s wild that I will buy two boxes of the same exact litter and they both have a different color, scent, etc. Look elsewhere for litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We adopted 3 cats at the same time and were struggling to find a litter that all three would use. This litter did the trick! No more peeing on the bed. The litter absorbs smell well and clumps quickly.

Miss the old formula. I feel like I need to wear a mask when I dump this litter into the box as it now creates a massive dust cloud! Far from dust free. We have a cat with asthma, so I will probably need to change. The litter is also much darker and the texture is different. Very small particles that track everywhere. Fresh step DONT FIX SOMETHING THAT ISNT BROKEN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat is very sensitive to new odors and food. I tried this fresh step unscented and he seems like everything is going good for him so far, no allergies or sneezing yet, also, it controls odors well.

I have tried several cat litters and without a doubt, my cats prefer Fresh Step clumping litter. I especially like the Fresh Step Ultra Unscented because it really does the job of locking in cat urine odors WITHOUT using fragrances. I really can't stand the odor of most cat litters--including ones that claim to be "unscented."

Been buying Fresh Step for a few years now, but usually get the Febreeze version. This unscented is even better because now I don't smell anything at all when cleaning the box. I don't have to associate litter and good smells, its just neutral. Works well enough for two cats in the main room of our house. Great Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product it works well!!! My only complaint is that it's unscented. I really like the scented one better. But I like that the unscented one is healthy for my cats. I don't know if the freebreez is good for my cats all the time. So sometimes I'll switch to the unscented. I live in a small place with two male cats an the smell isn't always pleasent to be around. But even the unscented works great on oder control. I just think the scented one works better.

I have used the multicast unscented litter for years. I enjoyed the ease in which cleaning the litter box occurred as well as the lack of extra fragrance. The new simply unscented formula is made with. Low dust component that is flawed. The litter gets so hard that I often spend five minutes scraping the bottom of the litter box to get the rock hard clumps to detach from the litter box. The odor elimination is just as functional as the old formula but the low dust feature doubles the litter scooping time and adds difficulty to the process.

Switched to this after trying many others, one of my kitties has itch problems, and I could tell whenever he had just been to the litter box. This product does not seem to bother him, AND it is less dusty and tracks less than anything else I have ever used!!

I bought this about 2 months ago to try it since there appear to be changes to the formula and it seems to be less dusty than the triple action and scented varieties. If you are scooping the box regularly (at least 2 times a week or more) and changing out the litter this is better especially for cats sensitive to scents and dust.
