I've used this litter for a household of kitties and I can attest to the fact that this is the best litter available without Febreeze. I have to keep a clean smelling home and I would recommend this to everyone! We've tried other litters from other companies, but this by far is the best for sensitive cats and we even have one with cancer--So minimizing the chemicals in our household is important to us.

This is the cleanest, most effective litter that I have ever used. My cat's litter box never has an odor. The litter is very absorbent and does not leave residue in the pan of the litter box. Most importantly, my cat likes the Unscented and is very accepting of using the box! I highly recommend this product.

This takes all the things I liked about their various old litters and makes one good, scent-free litter that works really well at controlling odor and clumping. The new box design is also way easier to open than the old one, which required a box cutter for me.

The clumps remove all of the urine without extra work, and the little brown items are completely covered; this makes scooping a breeze. My cats were sensitive to all other litters. No problem with this one. And it goes a very long way. I never have to completely empty the boxes, just add more. 40 pounds lasts an entire month with daily scooping. Great stuff!

I have a hard time finding unscented litter that doesn't leave a cloud of dust. I bought the Fresh Step unscented litter with charcoal and I am very pleased. It clumps great which is a must, has great odor control and best of all it doesn't get dusty! I will definitely purchase again.

We adopted a cat that had terrible allergies. One thing that helped was changing a lightly scented litter that we were using to Ultra Unscented. Although it didn't totally cure him, it immediately helped his allergies. However, he was our third cat and I was concerned that the odors would build up ... but it can handle three cats just fine.

I recently switched back to Fresh Step from a cat litter machine that used this terrible litter that had a scent that was so overpowering. When it mixed with cat urine, the smell was beyond tolerable. Listen, no litter is perfect, but, at the very least, FS Ultra Unscented controls the stench. Thank you.

I too noticed the change, when I first opened box, color & texture was different in the last 3 boxes I bought. Thought it was a mistake. I have been using unscented, low dust for years as my old cat ( now deceased) sneezed with fragrance kind) I still use unscented/ low dust. BUT it now has left ALOT of dust in my laundry room where her cat box is. Only a slight fragrance. Why change it when it was working?
