I have had cats in my home since I was a child - tried every litter there is. By far! This is the best. I also have asthma, and this one does NOT irritate me! So glad this product is here!!

I'll be honest: this is about me more than them. I'm super sensitive to synthetic fragrances. After switching to the unscented variety, not only is there less smell coming from the cat boxes but less perfumed dust all over the house. My senior cats aren't good about covering up their business so there's going to be an odor anyway -- Febreze would just add to it. I still find places where the old Fresh Step dust had settled, like closet shelves...literally the whole house smelled like a litterbox before this version came out.

I have used other Fresh Step products in the past and have always been satisfied - they make a product for every cat need! One of my kittens is finicky about her cat litter and I wanted to try an unscented and was not disappointed. It performed as well as other Fresh Step products.

I love Ultra Unscented Fresh Step -- it really delivers, a litter that has no smell, keeps bacterial smells at bay, is easy to clean up and my cat LIKES it. I am very finicky about cat litter as I don't like dust or litter that has huge chips of clay in it. My kitty and I say 5 stars.

Beware!! Fresh Step Simply Unscented cat litter has been the only cat litter we can safely use. Serious respiratory issues mean absolutely no fragrances! We- myself and kitties-have a terrible time with this “new formula”. What did you do and why???? This used to be a great option for those of us who can’t tolerate fragrances or dust. ‘Plant extracts’?! No!! You are making us literally sick! SHAME ON YOU.

I am a new cat owner (after an absence of 28 years!), and I am thrilled with this litter. So easy to neaten up every morning and evening, and keeps odors at a true minimum. I am a bit of a neat freak, and this litter works meets my standards and only needs to be changed twice a week.

Even daily scooping and frequent changing of the entire box only goes so far. Fresh Step's Ultra Unscented litter is the only litter I've used that actually does what it says. Using this litter, there's no stink. There just isn't. No ammonia smell. No weird wet litter smell. And it's economical too, which is very important to me.

Using the Ultra Unscented Fresh Step litter means I don't have to worry that my cat will be exposed to strong perfumes. This litter is also a low dust formula which is great for me, as well as my 3 year old daughter who loves to pet her. When we used other formulas we could smell and feel that litter on Lucy and it was very unappealing. With this formula we don't notice that anymore. We love Ultra Unscented Fresh Step litter! Thanks for thinking of our sensitive little fury children!

I am very happy to be able to continue using my favorite litter, while not subjecting my kitties to perfumes and scents! I am not so sure they are good for cats, and since I prefer more natural products, it feels great to extend this to my three fur babies!

The single 42 LB container (one flexible bag and not the plastic containers like shown) that was delivered is terrible because the original bag would not open after the zipper was opened and the plastic bag was sealed way to deep on the top and caused the whole bag to tear open and split apart below the zipper, thus the zipper recloseing was useless and also after the bag was torn actual edge opening was melted down together on approx. a 45 degree on both ends next to and just bellow the zipper ends. These were the ones I received delivered and on-line from Sam's Club.
