If I could give 0 I would. My cat has a chronic respiratory thing and he’s been getting worse. The formula changed and it’s extremely dusty and no longer clumps but makes a sludgey pastey type pile of urine. I wish I found out sooner because I get it on auto ship through a company and first started using the new formula. I’ve been a customer probably for a decade. I will be searching for a new litter.

This is probably the best litter on the market. Excellent clumping, keeping the litter cleaner longer. Best odor control of any litter. Activated charcoal has been shown in numerous studies to be the most effective odor control material. My cats really aren't picky about the litter they use but I buy this litter because it makes my life easier and more pleasant. In a multi-cat household controlling litter box odors can be challenging. This litter makes it not so challenging. The only thing I would change is how the box opens. It can be difficult to get open at times. The perforation isn't always very good. Sometimes I use a box knife.

I recently switched back to Fresh Step from a cat litter machine that used this terrible litter that had a scent that was so overpowering. When it mixed with cat urine, the smell was beyond tolerable. Listen, no litter is perfect, but, at the very least, FS Ultra Unscented controls the stench. Thank you.

2 indoor cats, and I clean 2 litter boxes at least twice a day. Usually have to dump the litter in 7 days due to the super fine dust in the air. It has a lighter scent - not truly unscented. Compared to other unscented litters, there are less expensive litters with no scent, but more dust. The low dust claim lasts about 3 days. Then, dust is everywhere. Still, it's better than most I've tried. As an asthmatic, I'm questioning the cost-benefit relationship. Additionally it's very very heavy. And yes I've tried your lightweight littler too.

Fresh Step is our go to litter now! It's the only brand of litter that actually rewards you for buying! The unscented is high quality, low dust and you get a lot for a reasonable price! We love Fresh Step and so do our 6 children cats (Klumsy, Belle, Linkx, Navi, Vincent, and Tali)! I definitely recommend this unscented litter for anyone who is or have cats that are bothered by perfumes. And the new four packs are so very easy to carry, pour, reseal, and store!

I know it is a great value because I have compared it to others offered in the same size. I go to my local Sam's Club and get a lot of litter for a very small cost, and that works great for my budget. I like how easy it handles, the clumps don't fall apart when you it scoops them and its not messy. I really love how it controls the smell, because his pan is right next to the toilet in the bathroom.

The lower dust formula and no added perfume is best for my cats. I have one with asthma, and also do fostering, so with multiple cats, there is more scratching in the pan. There are far fewer breathing irritants, and that's important to me and my cats!

I have been using Fresh Step unscented for years. My local store was out of the unscented so I tried the one with Fabreeze. The scented litter left an odor on her paws which means the chemicals were on her paws as well. That did not sit well with me so I will only use the unscented from now on.
