I continually purchase this litter because it is unscented. My litter cleaning preference is to clean the box out and add enough for my cat's first usage and after cleaning out the clumps, I add a bit more in. With my usual method, I find that the clumping stay consistently strong. I find there to be a bit of dust kick up. I mitigate aggravating my asthma due to the dust propagation, I wear a face mask when cleaning the litter box.

We started switching our cats' litter from Dr. Elsey's to Fresh Step Ultra-Unscented a month ago, after a recommendation from a trusted friend and cat rescuer. Fresh Step Ultra-Unscented has lower dust than Dr. Eley's, it covers odors very well, and costs less! We are completely sold on this product!

The last couple purchases we have made have been getting worse. I have been using this litter for years and never had a problem. Used to use the free and clear until you got rid of it. My husband has asthma so we got this to help. This Kate’s batch has us both struggling to breathe when the litter is poured or cleaned and our room is covered in dust every time we put new litter in. Both cats have also started sneezing a lot more because of it. We were not aware of a formula change and while we don’t mind the color we do mind not being able to breathe around the litter.

I have tried few litter before, but this is the best of them all. I would never switch to other, and I even recommend this to my friends that have cats.

I like the no scent litter because my older cat doesn't really like perfumed litter and the rabbit likes to lay in her box, and having just a carbon based litter makes me feel better about their well-being. I love every product of Fresh Step and will never buy another brand.

I bought this product because my cat was diagnosed with asthma and I needed something that was less dusty and unscented. When I buy a product that says ultra unscented I expect that to mean it has no scent. And yet this litter has a distinct perfume odor. I was buying a cheaper brand of litter but gave this a try and am very disappointed. It seems to be affecting my cats asthma more because of the scent. I don't understand how an unscented cat litter can have a scent of perfume unless they put the wrong product in the packaging. Plus the clumping seems more like cement and is harder to scoop from the box even after waiting an hour or two after cat uses box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jiffy has allergies and this is the only litter that will not make him break out. The unscented really doesn’t even need to have a scent to cover up the cat box smell..because there is no cat box smell!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So originally we used a cheaper brand, but I tried this cat liter out! And it makes such a big difference! It’s not much more than what we were getting and it clumps socmuch better! My husband doesn’t want to buy any other cat litter again!
