This is our favorite litter but our store doesn’t carry it. So we always ordered online. But it’s nowhere near as good a deal now that it’s seven dollars to get it shipped. Wish Sam’s would go back to free shipping for plus members.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried so many different litters and this one is better than all of them. It is truly unscented and yet completely contains the smell. It clumps really well too. Scooping is easy and doesn't leave little bits of soiled litter so it lasts longer. I did NOT receieve a free product for this review. I've purchased this litter without any special promotion several times.

I have been using this product for years. The product is now different and unfortunately, my cats now hate it. It would have been nice if the label had indicated that the formula changed. It looks like wet cement. After discovering that my cats hated it, I ended up using the litter to fill up some half empty paint cans. It’s very disappointing. Not only has the price of this sky rocketed, it is now so inferior to what it used to be. Don’t the manufacturers of this product know their audience? Cats are so finicky and particular. Maybe humans can be fooled, but the users of the product will not be.

After adopting 2 cats, I was searching for a clumping litter that wouldn’t track all over the house and also mask odor. This litter has no perfume smell but is able to cover completely keep our bathroom odor free with every other day scooping and once weekly changing the litter.

I have a pretty good nose and I have yet to smell any “litter box smells” since using this litter. My apartment is pretty tiny and I was convinced I would ALWAYS be able to smell the litter box upon entering it. However, in switching to this litter all odors have been depleted. Best of all, my kitty loves that it is unscented and when she’s happy, I’m happy :)

I used your "unscented clumping" in the 42lb package for years 17 yrs as when I initially bought litter that was not unscented I got sores in my nose. I immediately switched to your then "unscented' and the problem stopped immediately, the cat passed at 17rs old on 1/3/21, hence no more kitty litter was purchased. One week ago I rehomed a cat from a family member and we both purchased a 42lb package of your "simply unscented" and there is definitely a smell/scent as soon as you open the package, the cat carries the scent after using the litter box, and the sores have begun again in my nose!! A product that states "simply unscented" should be UNSCENTED!! IF I KNEW THAT I WOULD HAVE AN ISSUE FINDING UNSCENTED LITTER I WOULD HAVE NOT TAKEN THE CAT AS I DO NOT NEED HEALTH CONCERNS AND THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND ANOTHER HOME FOR THE CAT.

This used to be May favorite litter… Every box I’ve purchased over the past two months has been heavily fragranced and extremely dusty. What happened? Misleading people and selling a product that is supposed to be completely fragrance free yet is full of artificial fragrance is shady business practice. We’re buying “fragrance free” for a reason. Everything my cats come in contact with smells like cleaning chemicals, it’s disgusting. The dust is making all of us sneeze as well.

this litter is awesome. i've tried world's best and arm and hammer clump and seal and they don't even come close to this. this absorbs odor very well. i can barely smell the litter right after my cat uses the litterbox. it is low dust. it does track a little but much less than arm and hammer. scooping is easy as it clumps very well. there are pieces that break off but less than the other brands. it is a little more pricey but you get what you pay for.

Well, we weren't disappointed, instead were extremely pleased with the odor control (2 cats) and the low dust. When scooped very regularly, odor control is extremely good. Bonus: the lack of perfume agents. Will be using this litter as long as it is made :-) Thanks for making a wonderful product!

Our two cats love Fresh Step Ultra and we never smell any odor. They jumped right in the first time I set up the box. Everything is really easy to scoop because it clumps so tightly. This is the first clay litter we have tried. We had used a flushable litter with our prior cats, but we now live in a home with a septic system. I buy the small size because it's easier to lift.
