SAM'S NEEDS TO DO BETTER WITH 3RD PARTY COMPANIES; Today, i called Sam's CS to share issues listed below in hopes they would look into this and make things right so the next Sam's customer would not have a similar experience. i wasn't asking for anything, just informing that this isn't Sam's standards. 1st rep offered an e-gift card after discussing issues, approval %26 hold time (30 minutes). was nice. then, sent me to his supervisor, Alyxus. apologized,was nice but nothing she could or would do to fix future delivery issues. said no gift card would be issued as rep spoke out of place (1st rep told me it was approved by his supervisor, she denied this). another 30 minutes with her! now, I'm annoyed as someone there was dishonest. was it the 1st rep or his supervisor? doesn't matter, NOW POOR CS! SAM'S, YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!!
Delivery by Maersk did not live up to Sam's standard.
1. not able to track, just says out for delivery
2. called Maersk %23 to try to get a window for delivery..no human ever was reached, completely automated
3. 1 person on truck.. no way any 1 person could have lifted this..too big, bulky and heavy--could be a liability issue. stop cutting corners!!
4. before unloading off the truck, delivery guy asked my husband for signature on manifest. why? what if it was damaged?
5. delivery man asked my husband to push the lift button on truck to lower it to street..no big deal, but again, if we weren't home, how would lift gotten lowered?
6. again, a 2-person job to lift %26 carry this 85" tv up 2 steps and inside house. My husband, who recently had knee replacement surgery, offered and did help. again, what if we weren't here? it's the right thing to do.
7. no copy of manifest was given upon request. i added comments after reading his manifest and took picture. manifest instructions read "no scheduled call is required do not deliver early or late 30 minute pre-call is required no signature required can leave at door.." NONE OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FROM ME! why on God's green earth would a $2000 item clearly marked in a tv box be left without signature?? who comes up with these instructions and why aren't customers allowed to add any OR receive a window of delivery OR receive a call when on the way?
delivery was received 6:44pm. guy left at 6:50pm. interesting enough, Maersk sent a text to me stating my delivery was at 2:50pm, 4 hours earlier! no it wasn't... why would they state that it was delivered 4 hours earlier when it wasn't? i have time Dated text from gate access when they entered my subdivision PLUS video footage of his arrival.
i don't like dishonesty!!
