Awsome picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung TV for streaming Netflix, Amazon TV, and AirTV. The picture clarity is excellent. I have it in a room with 4 very large windows, and the glare is very low. I highly recommend this TV to everyone.

Great but not perfect

While this is a great TV and I'D recommend for the price, it has flaws. 1. The USB port stays powered on now instead of turning off when the TV is turned off. 2. The screen is soft and scratches too easily. 3. Volume profiles don't amplify voices enough. 4. Somewhat complicated menu navigation for some features. 5. Should have retained the automatic screensaver function like our older Samsung model had. 6. Since it is Wi-Fi connected to a home network, should be able to connect directly to networked phones and computers via Wi-FI. 7. Ports should be more accessible from one or both sides for easier access, like just a couple inches in from a side. 8. Maybe make frames available for purchase that owners can install themselves to make the TV look nicer, like art.

About as big as I would want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is the mainly used for my personal viewing. The setup was easy, packaging allowed me to install stand while still being supported. Applications are easy to download and place on the home screen. The screen is fairly black in dark scenes and more than bright enough in ECO mode during the daytime with plenty of sunlight in the room.

3rd party delivery %26 Sam's CS substandard

SAM'S NEEDS TO DO BETTER WITH 3RD PARTY COMPANIES; Today, i called Sam's CS to share issues listed below in hopes they would look into this and make things right so the next Sam's customer would not have a similar experience. i wasn't asking for anything, just informing that this isn't Sam's standards. 1st rep offered an e-gift card after discussing issues, approval %26 hold time (30 minutes). was nice. then, sent me to his supervisor, Alyxus. apologized,was nice but nothing she could or would do to fix future delivery issues. said no gift card would be issued as rep spoke out of place (1st rep told me it was approved by his supervisor, she denied this). another 30 minutes with her! now, I'm annoyed as someone there was dishonest. was it the 1st rep or his supervisor? doesn't matter, NOW POOR CS! SAM'S, YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!! Delivery by Maersk did not live up to Sam's standard. 1. not able to track, just says out for delivery 2. called Maersk %23 to try to get a window for delivery..no human ever was reached, completely automated 3. 1 person on truck.. no way any 1 person could have lifted this..too big, bulky and heavy--could be a liability issue. stop cutting corners!! 4. before unloading off the truck, delivery guy asked my husband for signature on manifest. why? what if it was damaged? 5. delivery man asked my husband to push the lift button on truck to lower it to street..no big deal, but again, if we weren't home, how would lift gotten lowered? 6. again, a 2-person job to lift %26 carry this 85" tv up 2 steps and inside house. My husband, who recently had knee replacement surgery, offered and did help. again, what if we weren't here? it's the right thing to do. 7. no copy of manifest was given upon request. i added comments after reading his manifest and took picture. manifest instructions read "no scheduled call is required do not deliver early or late 30 minute pre-call is required no signature required can leave at door.." NONE OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FROM ME! why on God's green earth would a $2000 item clearly marked in a tv box be left without signature?? who comes up with these instructions and why aren't customers allowed to add any OR receive a window of delivery OR receive a call when on the way? delivery was received 6:44pm. guy left at 6:50pm. interesting enough, Maersk sent a text to me stating my delivery was at 2:50pm, 4 hours earlier! no it wasn't... why would they state that it was delivered 4 hours earlier when it wasn't? i have time Dated text from gate access when they entered my subdivision PLUS video footage of his arrival. i don't like dishonesty!!

Love my Samsung 85 4k tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tv is great. Great picture and sound,but bu the only major problem is when switching from view to other. It sometimes it takes several seconds to not changing at all. And the voice assistance never works properly.

Great Picture Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this Samsung television for almost a year. Very happy overall, and the picture quality is fantastic. Very thin design fits neatly against the wall. I have it installed with a DVR and a Denon Receiver for surround sound. All of the hookups were easy and have worked well. Would highly recommend this television.

My Samsung has the brightest clear picture.

I love the 3D sound system it's pure and direct. Smart feature helps me control the whole house. It's the best TV i have had in the last 50 years.

The quality / clarity is amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 55in Samsung television, which was great but I always wanted to move up to an 85in TV. Once I connected this 85in TV, I couldn't believe the quality and clarity of the picture. It's like being in a movie theater. I am very pleased with this product and just wished I would have purchased it long ago. I also use this for searching things on YouTube, which I find easy to do.

Sams Club = Horrible Delivery Logistics

Horrible customer service logistics from Sams Club: Used cheapest FedEx LTL which is OUTSIDE doorstep delivery (not even inside) … didn't allow any reschedule … company didn't call ahead of time to advise on the way …. Etc. Think of it as FedEx Ground or worse …. And with a 125lb TV to move around. NOT what Sams Club says will be the delivery experience. 0 stars for Sams Club..

Defective Samsung TV and Misleading Warranties

This was a birthday gift for my mom's 90th birthday and it has been a nightmare dealing with these inept companies. This TV was a piece of garbage that stopped working after 2 days. The so-called "Protection Plan" through Allstate is misleading at best. Tried to work with Cone Appliance who executes Samsung's manufacturer's warranty, but after not less than making 5 appointments, nothing has been accomplished. They made us wait around all day, then make excuses for why they fail to show-up, have delays, make repairs, or fulfill their promises. If they sold excuses, they would be rich. This has been going on for over 2.5 weeks now. Despite the issue being elevated to higher levels at Sam's Club, Allstate (Square Trade), Samsung, and Cone Appliance, the TV remains dead on the living room wall. A constant reminder of the failings of these companies. Next stop is the local consumer news desk and my lawyer's office to hold them responsible. If anyone has similar experiences, I encourage you to do the same.
