Excellent order to delivery service. After two weeks viewing our 85" SAMSUNG QN90DD TV is better than we expected. The setup (SAMSUNG sound bar, SAMSUNG DVD player, and TV cable installation) was easy and quick. The only hitch was I needed help lifting the TV up on our TV cabinet (100+ pounds). A wall installation would have probably been more difficult.

I am so happy that I upgraded to the 85in NEO QN 990D. I can't remember the Samsung Q series that I upgraded from 6 years old which 75in which I rally enjoyed but when the 990D came out I knew that I needed to get it and I did, I also upgraded to the Q Symphony HW 990d soundbar. I'm the happies guy on the block.

I bought this Television a couple of months ago and everything about my new TV is great. I had to replace my old old Samsung because of the technology gap. I would be unable to load new apps to my old TV. The new one works great and all my apps work well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's lots of Pros and a couple cons: PROS: It's bright - like really bright. We have our TV facing our 8' window so glare was a big concern of mine but this thing is so bright I don't even notice the glare from the huge window behind me. Colors are vibrant; blacks are deep. Motion is crisp. Surround sound is great too with the Samsung TV/Soundbar Q-Symphony technology. Feels cinematic. CONS: There aren't any I've encountered with the TV itself, but the remote sucks - what you gain in small minimalist design you lose in function (ex: play/pause is not in the middle but offset so when you think you're pausing something you're actually hitting the menu and getting out of your show. Mute is achieved by pressing in (not up or down) on the volume, so it gets muted all the time by accident). The Tizen voice search isn't as good as Roku.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung TV for streaming Netflix, Amazon TV, and AirTV. The picture clarity is excellent. I have it in a room with 4 very large windows, and the glare is very low. I highly recommend this TV to everyone.

The tv is great. Not simple to set up, but can be figured out. The issue is with Sam's and delivery. They sent the first one and the movers were supposed to set it up. They were inexperienced and did not know what they were doing. They said the stand was incorrect and it needed to be returned. I called Sam's and a replacement was delivered the following week, but this time the movers said it was not a set up. And they did not have an order to pick the other one up. I called Sam's again and they acted like they had nothing for the return. So, they said it was set up, and I would receive an email with details in 2 days. That was 3 days ago and have heard nothing and I have a 85 inch tv in my living room waiting to be taken away. Tv great. Sam's, not so great on this purchase, it was and is a major hassle.

While this is a great TV and I'D recommend for the price, it has flaws. 1. The USB port stays powered on now instead of turning off when the TV is turned off. 2. The screen is soft and scratches too easily. 3. Volume profiles don't amplify voices enough. 4. Somewhat complicated menu navigation for some features. 5. Should have retained the automatic screensaver function like our older Samsung model had. 6. Since it is Wi-Fi connected to a home network, should be able to connect directly to networked phones and computers via Wi-FI. 7. Ports should be more accessible from one or both sides for easier access, like just a couple inches in from a side. 8. Maybe make frames available for purchase that owners can install themselves to make the TV look nicer, like art.

TV is good. Delivery experience was horrendous. One person was sent who couldn’t even get the tv out of their van.

Decided to upgrade my tv at the beginning of the NFL football season. After reading the reviews for the QN90D 85 inch, it seemed like it would be a great tv for my living room that gets a good amount of light. Disappointments with the tv include: 1. Fox broadcasts NFL games in 720p. The tv doesn't seem to do a great job in upscaling. Close up shots in the huddle look ok but players still look a little fuzzy on the wider views when the play is on. 2. Dark scenes are almost unwatchable. There are plenty of complaints online for this problem. There are specific adjustments to make dark scenes more watchable, but it takes a little away from the non dark scenes 3. When changing channels there is flicker on the new channel for a couple seconds. Not all the time but frequent. Also plenty of feedback online for this issue. 4. Sometimes the remote gets confused. The home button will work but the volume and back buttons stop working. 5. Several times the tv has just turned off when hitting the back button. My biggest criteria for a new tv was 1. Have a good picture in a bright room, and 2. Have a good picture for sports (football, soccer, etc.). After going through many reviews on multiple sites, I thought I found the best tv for my budget, but ended up being disappointed instead.
