I absolutely love this kitty litter, and for years I would not use anything else. A clumps great, low dust, and wonder for for multi cat homes. Unfortunately it’s gotten way too expensive to justify purchasing it. I’ve had to move over to the store bought brand, until prices go down.

Since the change, not sure why it was made the litter is terrible. It clumps but gets wet and clay-like. It sticks to the litter pan and my cat's paws. I have used Fresh Pet For over 20 years, but now I have to to find a new little brand. Please do not write the same response as you did to the others who have noted the same issues. Telling me to call will not fix the problem.

I had to change the cat litter we used to Fresh Step. Dumped out all the old clumping litter and filled up with new Fresh Step. No more horrible congestion and allergies. We have 6 cat boxes. Fresh Step was recommended by a family member. We will be using Fresh Step exclusively from now on.

I think I would rather smell cat pee than this stuff. Cats have sensitive noses so I can’t imagine having to walk into this stuff and do my business!! I can smell it on their paws so I’m sure they’re ingesting toxic fragrances. When will these companies realize that not all people like their houses smelling like a can of air freshener....just the absence of what is in the box!!! Will go back the the good Dr. E....

Fresh Step works the best for me with my 3 cats. I clean the box daily, however, the fresh scent does last up to 10 full days even with one large box before I have to discard. My only complaint is that sometimes the packaging is impossible to open. I have even had to cut off the top and pour the litter into an old Fresh and Easy plastic container which I have kept.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the litter itself overall, but it tracks terribly. It sticks to cat paws as well as people feet! I really hate seeing it on a floor 2-3 rooms away from the litter box because it tracked on feet or paws. The new bags are also very difficult to use and spill easily.

Cat litter is like coffee: Spend a little more to get the good stuff. The granules are small, almost like sand. It clumps very well, so less winds up in the trash compared to cheaper products that aren't as absorbent. Pretty good at scent control, too.
