I have been buying this for a while, but wanted to try another brand. I will only be buying this from now on. My 15 yr old cat has a kidney disease and is constantly using the litter. The other brand would get muddy instead of clumping. FreshStep is the only brand that makes litter cleaning easier.

I am currently taming 4 kittens who use a lot of litter, along with their mother and my 2 already inside cats, so I use a 42 pound bag in about 8 days or so. This litter works well for them, but my boyfriend has a male cat who has not been neutered yet and his urine is too strong for this particular type. We will be purchasing the more expensive Fresh Steps next.

Tried 2 other brands when i took home my adopted cat and both didn't clump well and still had that cat smell. I have super sensitive nose and will smell any whiff of odor and would probably have the cat adopted back if i didn't find this wonderful 42 lb fresh step litter that clumps well and kills any smell! This is one-of-a-febreeze kind! Thank you!

I had been spending more money to order a "special" brand of litter online that was to keep down the dust for my 6 cats' four litter boxes. It worked! Then I tried Fresh Step and it worked just as well for much less money! Makes me want to add a FIFTH litter box!

If your cats are anything like mine then they love to do their business and then do what I call the "Walk of Shame". I end up with litter paw marks all over my wood floors! I am constantly mopping, which to be honest I hate doing even for my kids messes. Lol So this litter is perfect for anyone with hard wood or tile flooring. No claw marks to mop! It's heaven sent because my kitties get to live! Lol Definitely recommend!!

This is my favorite Fresh Step Litter product right now. Perfect for five cats! Locks in the odor and seals it up with Febreze. You never have to worry it when you are short on time with Total Control. Keeps litter fresh for hours. Happy cats! Happy mom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Granddaughter has litter box in her room for the cats during bedtime. There was a time I would open the door in the morning and all I could smell was the cat litter. NOT ANYMORE! This is really a great product- no litter smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this litter after struggling with a stinky box after only a day or two with my pervious brand. This litter has a fresh scent that covers up those awful litter box smells. I’m thankful we found a solution that works for our family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At one time I had 4 cats . Because I had used the Total Control type with my two cats I continued after my fiance' and I moved in together adding her two. It worked so good that she gave up trying to convince me that the litter she had used was better. Sadly I am back to only two cats now but we have switched to the Extreme due to and illness with one of them. Fresh Step continues to be our favorite brand.

Wow is all I can say!! I use nothing but Fresh Step litter, but this new Total Control along with Febreze really does control odors. We have two cats and sometimes a third if we have a rescue, and have a large catbox. Everyone that comes to visit doesn't even know we have cats or a catbox until they see our cats! And I always tell them about how wonderful Fresh Step Cat Litter is!!
