I have always used Fresh Step kitty litter and when I found it at the store I buy kitty litter at, I bought it to try it out. It definitely controls odors and as usual, works great with clumping. I have my litter box in a bathroom and I pass there frequently and never smell odors.

I have been buying fresh steps for 16 years. Tried every litter and happiest with your litter. I tried all litters for smell and less dust which they advertise less dust but always lots of dust. I always tell my friends to buy fresh step also. I bought this 42 lb bag a month ago and just changed my two big litter boxes that the 42 lb bag fills perfect. I was amazed I did not have dust flying. I am so happy that my cat room will not be covered with dust anymore as well as my lungs. Thanks for finally figuring this out. My cats thank you too.

This cat litter is by far one of the better ones I have tried. It does a great job at masking odors and my cat seems to like this litter because it does not stick to her paws. I like how well it controls urine odors and doesn't make a huge mess outside of the litter box. It is very easy to clean/scoop as well. I recommend Fresh Step Cat Litter. It works very well.

This litter is very heavy when scooping, not great at clumping. The febreze smell doesn't last, after 1 use its gone. When cats use litter the smell lingers and its not fresh. Better off buying the Purina light weight, smells great, clumps and not heavy to scoop at all.

We've been using this specific litter for a couple years (and Fresh Step for as long as I can remember...), and it works great at hiding the smells my 2 big Maine Coon mixes make. If they cover it :) In the 42lb bag, however, it can get hard to pour, so we've been using a cup as a scoop. Not too big of a hassle.

I remember the horrible clay litter and was so grateful when technology upgraded the quality of life for my cats, in turn this was for me as well. But I was even more grateful when I discovered Fresh Step. I have tried a number of litters over the years and found myself always returning to Fresh Step. I believe there isn't a better litter on the market.

I have used many brands of litter over my lifetime, since I always have had cats as members of the family. My cats like the scoop able litter, it does an excellent job of controlling odor & doesn't tract as much as other brands. I love buying the big buckets of litter, since it stays fresh, the cats can't dig it like the bags, & these buckets can be repurposed so many ways.
