I have gotten this litter for years and today it made me almost puke w the dust. Now I know why my cats are coughing. I've noticed other China products switching recipes too. Guess they are needing are money w war products for Russia. Wait is 2 stars too much?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I've used Fresh Step litter in a few years. For the most part, I am satisfied, I think we may just need to try another one of the many varieties to find what works best for us and our kitties!

In our busy apartment the litter box is in the bathroom. The space is small and the floors get wet but it's the best getaway for a cat to do his business. Before discovering this particular brand, I was getting overwhelmed with daily problems caused by the litter. The smell was awful and made worse by the small space and litter tracked and scratched on to the flooring always turned to a sludgy mess. Needless to say the odor is gone and no more sludgy mess to step in. The Fabreze scent compliments the area.

I picked this up in-store on a whim, because I was unable to find my normal unscented brand. Within 2 weeks, 3 of my 11 cats had uti's and were urinating blood. All were perfectly healthy, no previous urinary issues. Five hundred dollars later, an expensive lesson learned. Please beware of any litter that uses heavy perfumes.

We have used this brand and type of litter for years now for our 5, now 4, cats with excelllent results! We have 4 litter boxes which are scooped every other day and a flat goes a long way so certainly worth the money. Litter boxes are in our garage and we have no problem with odors. Would highly recommend.

I have been buying this litter for years now. I like it because of the scent and it’s not super dusty when you pour. Also, it keeps the gnats away that can appear sometimes. This is such an awesome litter and definitely one of my go-to’s for the size and value.

This is all we buy for our two cats. It's a great value and so concenient with the four resealable bags. It's much easier for me to manage and easier to lift one small bag and pour rather than a larger, heavier bag or box. It clumps well and smells fresh for weeks with regular scooping. The only reason why I took off one star is because the litter does still have some dust that settles on everything in my laundry room, and the cats seem to track it everywhere, even with a mat at the exit to the box.

I have two cats and litter goes quick. This litter is literally a money saver. The clumps come straight out with little flaking. You can get 2 weeks out of a bag, and it comes with 4. If you line the box with paper, one bag equals a week and then remove paper and you have another week (with daily cleanings obviously). Second week wash the bin and start all over. Keeps urine odors at bay and easy scoop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Fresh Step litter for years. I've used this version of litter a number of times now. I have 7 cats and 6 litter boxes. Only time you smell any odor is the days I clean the boxes and only until I take the garbage out.

Freshstep has long been the only litter I could ever find to completely eliminate odors, and the added Febreeze is a lovely bonus. Also, the plastic packaging can be recycled at grocery stores accepting plastic bags, though I would love a more eco-friendly alternative.
