Does clump well. Clump easily fall apart. Extremely dusty. I could smell the dust all over my house when I changed the boxes. Bothered my asthma. I do not recommend

This litter is pretty good but it is definitely not low dust. That's my only complaint, it smells fine and doesn't track bad, just leaves dust everywhere.

I had such high hopes for this litter. Unfortunately, it has so much dust that my bookcase is covered in a thick layer within 3 to 4 days. The floor around the litter box is the same way. I will be switching.

I am baffled by the good reviews and those that say dust is low. Dust billows! There is a clear demarcation line of dust on my floor and where dust was blocked.

Horrible. It does not hide odor well. I have a Litter Robot that disposes of urine and stool immediatly after the cat steps out, and this litter hides smells the least of any cat litter I've ever had.

I really wanted to like it it’s a great prize but does not stop odor at all we are constantly cleaning out our cats waste and it still smells horrible will not but again

Tried 2 other brands when i took home my adopted cat and both didn't clump well and still had that cat smell. I have super sensitive nose and will smell any whiff of odor and would probably have the cat adopted back if i didn't find this wonderful 42 lb fresh step litter that clumps well and kills any smell! This is one-of-a-febreeze kind! Thank you!

This litter, I even enjoy just standing inside my box to smell! I also have fun playing in it before I do my "job". [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats love fresh step. Both of my cats has allergies to dust in cat litter. fresh step is the only kind i can use for them. they always want to use the litterbox and get excited when i change it which is about every 3 weeks.

We have tried multiple different brands of litter and always had a problem with it (ex: didn't clump enough, didn't control the odor, etc). Then we tried Fresh Step Total Control with Febreze, and we LOVE this litter. There is never a litter box odor, even while scooping. The odor control is so amazing, we sometimes forget to clean the litter box for a couple of days. The other litters we tried reminded us, constantly. It clumps wonderfully, and makes scooping much easier than some of the other brands we tried- no goopy mess. I recommend this litter to all my friends who have cats. Even the cat loves it. She actually rubs against the bag whenever I am changing her litter out. The only wish I had for this litter is that it is really heavy coming in one big 42 pound bag at Sam's Club. I wish it was two bags together, or something like that. But, I am happy to deal with that one little issue because this litter is the best product on the market.
