I have been using this litter for about a year; my cats use the litter box without fail, so I know they are ok with this litter. I use covered litter boxes, & even with these, there is an immediate odor, which does dissipate eventually. My cats are fed very healthy food; the healthier the food, the stinkier the poops! The clumping factor is very important to me, & lately, it seems it hasn't been clumping quite as well as it used to. Hope the "formula" hasn't changed. Overall, I am satisfied with this litter; I like having it in smaller bags, which I then use when empty to dispose of the dirty litter.

It also has great clumping qualities and odor control we just love how well this works. We have four cats and let me tell you how well this keeps the odor under control, everyone comes into our house and can't even tell we have cat's they are very surprised when they see we have them because they can't even smell it when they come in. It's fantastic, W love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Fresh Step with Febreze for several months now and it is an awesome product. I love the fact when I am pouring the litter into the litter box there is virtually no dust, and with the addition of Febreze I don't have a stinky litter box in my bathroom. My cats seem to like the litter also and have no problem with the Febreze scent.

We have been using this for a while because it is bulk amount but in seperate packages that are easier to pour into litter box. But it does not work well anymore. It sticks to the bottom of the litter pan and needs scraping out and the odor control is now non existant. Will not use again.

I started using this in January 2022 and it was a great product. Then I found in march it changed and now my house smells like a dirty litter pan! I scoop it daily. It doesn’t clump as well as the original version I used did. They changed the formula and it’s terrible.

I like it because of the clean fresh smell, so does my family, and the cats love it too. Cats can be picky about litter but the go right to this one with no problem. My house stays clean and fresh smelling. Thank you Fresh Step :)

I love Fresh Step Litter! I have 3 kitties, 2 senior and 1 teenager (a little over 1 yr). As recommended by vets, I have 4 litter boxes. They are in my garage which is off of the kitchen. The door is left opened at all times, well, except for when I am scooping. Last year I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and was having a hard time doing every day things. There were days when I just could not scoop. One week was particularly bad and it was 3 days before I was able to scoop. The boxes were pretty full, however there was no overwhelming odor. Now, I scoop first thing in the morning instead of waiting till the evening. Point is, I just love Fresh Step! Their advertising is not exaggerated, it truly does control odors, even if you cannot get to the box to scoop daily. Thank you for an awesome product!

Our last batch of litter she avoided like the plague. I love how the Total Control with Febreeze eliminates the odor so well! Nobody can tell I have a cat when they come into my house (other than Camden cuddling up on their legs as they walk in).
