I recently had lumbar fusion surgery and can’t carry heavy boxes of litter up the stairs right now. I was worried about changing my cat’s litter because he is very picky and easily annoyed when things change in his world. I purchased this litter because it is packaged in 4 separate 11 pound bags which are much easier for me to carry up the stairs, one bag at a time. I am happy to report that this cat litter is very good. It is dust free, has a pleasant scent, is packaged in 4 separate that are much easier to carry up the stairs, and clumps into hard balls which are easy to scoop. Most importantly my cat hasn’t complained about this new litter.

I have a total of four cats and I used to litter boxes, and this fresh step is the best as far as lasting a long time and keeping the odor away. I scoop twice every day each litter box, a scoop twice a day because I have four cats, but it lasts a long time and for this price it was so reasonable I will be purchasing again definitely

I bought this to try clumping litter. Before it was delivered, I happened to be in my local farm store and bought two bags of their brand clumping litter that was on sale. I began by using the farm store brand and decided before the first day was over that I would use clumping litter forever more! It works so much better. When the time came to top off the litter box with the litter I ordered, I have to say it didn’t seem to work quite as well as the cheaper stuff. It leaves behind little bits that didn’t clump. I’ll buy the cheaper litter and be happier with it.

When on sale, we find this to be a great value. We have multiple cats (lots of rehabilitated abandoned/feral cats ; please spay/neuter). It definitely keeps the odor down and clumps better than some of the lower cost brands. We use other brands when not on sale. We also like the fact that they are in small bags so carrying is easier. I waffled on the star rating but went lower because of the cost.

Far superior to the big buckets and no added cost for being separated into reasonable size pouches. This is my favorite litter because the pouches. They make it so much easier to spread the litter to the different litter pans we have in different areas.

This kitty litter is wonderful. Our kitties love their clean litter boxes when we use Fresh Step 44lb kitty litter. Clumps really well, making cleaning each day easy. The price and the amount you get is such a great savings for pet owners. Sometimes, Sams Clubs, do a special when you Scan & Go with this product. So be sure to look to see if it is on Sale to save even more. Meaning you can get more kitty treats with the money you save... Ha!

The litter works great, especially with odor control and the price is competitive. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the packaging isn't the greatest. I often need scissors to get it open and a chip clip to keep it closed if I'm just topping off and not using a whole bag.

I was skeptical about trying this litter because of the smaller bags packaged together but this cat litter smells so nice. It literally is dust free, thank God! Its easy to scoop and my 3 cats seem to be very happy. I love that you cannot smell anything after they use the restroom. The aroma of the cat litter conceals any smells. Lasts a long time. I've had 100's of cats in my lifetime but never been impressed by cat litter til now. I highly recommend this. Its a bit pricier but well worth it.

We let our fur babies in more over the summer, this kitty litter makes cleaning the litter boxes so much easier. The clumping process is amazing, smell is nil to non! And I do not mind cleaning the litter boxes at all. Note lifting the bags make the process so much easier!

Fresh step is one of the better choices of clumping cat litter .Definitely longer lasting odor control , light weight and easier to scoop compared to other cat litter brands sold at Sam’s I enjoy the individual packaging of the bags . This convenience comes with an added price.
