Not exactly excited about the scented part. I do not like scented products. The scent is always offensive to me. I c an say while I do not like the scent, it does not give me a headache. I know that this is a personal thing and not an indicator to quality of product. TH litter is great. I have been using it for years and was always bummed that I wo8uld have to make an extra trip to get it when needed. Nice that I can get it with my regular sams order. 1 of the bags fills one of my litter pans perfectly. I have large, covered pans though. My cats don't know where the edge is and insist on a half in half out approach. and there are 3 of them. Use this litter. If you can find unscented I like that more but, just use the litter.

We have been purchasing this Fresh Step litter for years. It has never been so awful and expensive! After one use by our cat, this litter turns to mud!!! I don’t know what has been done to it but it is unacceptable especially since the price has actually tripled! This is not the same product!!!!! We are extremely disappointed in this company!!!!!

Litter from the litter box, through the living-room, in the kitchen and on the beds. It’s absolutely disgusting. I had to change from paper litter to something else bc my apartment building has a nat/ fruit fly issue and they loved the paper litter but this is my second brand of traditional litter and it sucks.

When Sam's ran out of Fresh Step we were distraught & scrambled to find it anywhere with not much luck & we were lterally devastated because the quality of Fresh Step is #1 in our opinion. We literally tried at least 3 other brands but WERE NOT satisfied or impressed by their marketing of "dust free" (so far from the truth), the packaging was literally at best (extremely difficult to open & smash the box down) & I could go on & on but it takes away from the review & letting Fresh Step shine & stand out as it should! Hands down, by far the absolute best litter on the market & as I mentioned, the paw points program offers a large variety of prizes with your ponts! Their program called "Paw Points" where you can get coupons for either free or litter at a huge discount is wonderful because in addition to the coupons you can also choose from magazines, books, cat toys & much more with your account giving credits to your favorite rescue or shelter. 5 stars period.

This is the best cat litter. I “sift” it using a Joseph Joseph plastic square pasta strainer. I do this after I scoop with a regular scoop. The JJ strainer catches all the “crumbs” that are a couple of pieces stuck together. It’s like brand new litter when I am done so it lasts a long time, making it very economical.

Best litter I've found! Clumps well (sometimes makes larger clumps than necessary, making it a little wasteful) but the odor-fighting is unmatched. It is expensive, but worth it, so I always get extra when it's on sale. Sam's always has the best price.

I used to be a die hard fan of another popular litter brand. I got this because the go to was sold out. This is the best litter I have ever used. It clumps tighter and scoops much more cleanly. I use an automatic litter box and it leaves little to no 'crumbs' behind. When I empty the waste catcher there isn't any offensive odor, which is a huge deal. My cats area is much more 'tidy' than its ever been.

Much less expensive than the other brand I was using but quality is good. Seems to cover odor from solid waste well. Only downside is my cats are heavy wetters so the clumps from the urine are huge and seem to take a lot of litter but for the price it’s ok.

This litter lasts a decent amount of time, the packaging makes it WAY easier to refill or top off without dumping the massive heavy box all at once & I have rebought this for months without fail because it leaves a nice mask to the odor without being overbearing. not dusty not crusty - very good choice & i am allergic or sensitive to E V E R Y T H I N G.

Fresh Step with Fabreze is by far the best cat litter I have found. I have 4 cats and 4 litter boxes. Fresh Step controls the odor so well that you would never know that have cats. I have tried cheaper cat litter brands but they did not compare with the effectiveness of Fresh Step. Fresh Step is worth paying a little more for.
