This is my 3rd Samsung this is the smaller of the three. The other two are older and did not require a Samsung account which is annoying. The box clearing indicates HULU is a choice for steaming, and that is not the case. Yes, you can download from the WEB but cannot add for a choice. If you want to view HULU you have to continue to on on line each time. And NO its not on the apps to download like prime or Netflix and so on. That is my only complaint.

I ordered a 40" Samsung TV; it was easy to order. priced right, and arrived promptly. I'm very satisfied with the purchase...so far, anyway. I say that because I am having an intermittent issue issue with my existing Sony DVD player which I've attached to the TV. Not sure yet what the issue is; I may be able to resolve it. My concern is that because the TV worked fine out of the box, and I have storage space limitations, I've disposed of the packaging. So if I have to return the TV, will that be a problem? Other than that, the only other issue is that the TV was actually delivered one day earlier than it was scheduled to be. I was here to receive it, but if I hadn't been, then the large TV would have been sitting on my front porch...probably not such a good idea.

Our new Samsung TV has a new internal feature called auto lighting which cannot be turned off and ruins the picture when the room is dark. This was not discovered until after purchase. All our other tvs are Samsung and are great. Apparently this feature just started recently and everyone hates it. Do not buy Samsung without checking about this annoying feature which ruins picture quality and resolution.

Very nice picture and very affordable. Perfect tv for extra bedroom or smaller living area. May not have all the bells and whistles of the top model but it is totally adequate. Samsung always has a quality picture. And, it has the smart tv features. Very happy with this t.v. Good value.

I chose this particular television because it was a known brand, would fit into the cabinet space vacated by the previous TV, and the price was reasonable. The picture is sharp and colours are true. Unfortunately, after 1-1/2 to 2 hours of use, the voices becomes garbled. This soon rectifies, but returns about 10 minutes later. This sequence continues. I returned the TV in the belief that there was something wrong with it, and purchased another, identical set that was available in the store at that time. The same problem is recurring! Research has indicated that some smaller TV's that provide very good picture and colour come with speakers that are small, which can be the source of this problem. Now I have to decide whether to purchase a piece of equipment that might solve this issue and/or start all over again with a completely different brand that I had not chosen because of an iffy reputation for quality; my choices are limited owing to the very specific size that I need.

We love Samsung TVs in general but purchased this one for our bedroom after college kid took older Samsung to her apartment. Then we bought a second one as a gift for mother in law. Big beautiful picture. Easy working features. Highly recommend it. No cons that I can think of but we just watch basic things no video gaming so can’t give a review as to that. Just a nice tv for the price and perfect size for bedroom or small tv room. I may add a sound bar just for fun by Samsung of course because they pair nicely together when by the same company. Hope this helps :)

Incorrect description! Does not support current apps, such as Hulu, even though the apps are shown on the box and in the product description. I spent an hour with Samsung support and they came to the same result Do not buy if you want to use smart tv app!

Will take more time to figure out this controller as it has many buttons. Tried to control what channels to keep or delete but found it difficult so gave up. The picture is outstanding. I have a Visio smart TV as well and find it easy to use but picture not as good.

I would have rated this five stars except the owners manual is basically blank. it doesn't tell you how to set it up and I didn't want to take time to look it up on line. Once the set is turned on it takes you through the start up process. Be prepared to take 45 minutes and it also required you to set up a Samsung account.

It had two HDMI Ports and the picture is good considering the price paid. If it had been over $500 I would have given it two stars but for $269.99 it is five stars. I don't understand why the power cord was a little short but I'll overlook that as it just makes it difficult to move around but I really don't think it's an issue for me personally. Shipping was two days and I couldn't see any issue with dents, drops or anything of concern. Very happy with the set as a bedroom extra.
