The tv itself was great. The thing I had a problem with was the delivery and the condition the package came. First of all, whoever delivered it DID NOT ring the doorbell to alert me of it and I was at home and second, there were huge holes in the bix which indicated just how the package was handled. Thankfully there was no damage to the unit itself. The rating on the tv was almost a five in my opinion but the service I received from Wal-Mart on the delivery gets a big fat 0 stars. I'll NEVER buy another tv from you guys again, not even in the store.

I really like this TV. I bought this to replace an older model Samsung Smart TV. I like the changes they made to the Hub, although I quickly disabled the auto hub feature as I don't like it coming up when I don't need it to on turning the tv on. You should take note that if you have HULU, this TV does not support that app anymore. This was not a factor for me as I don't subscribe to HULU. I do however, use the SPECTRUM app for streaming and the Samsung Smart TV is the only way now to access this app and that was perhaps a deciding feature for me, although I was very happy with my older model Samsung Smart TV and would have chosen this for that reason alone. The remote is still the same. I am used to the small buttons, but I know that is difficult for some. Other than the channel up and down and the volume up and down, the buttons are on the little side, especially the buttons for playback of video, such as play, fast forward and rewind, and pause. I have not had an issue with this only in a dark room, because they are difficult to see since this is an unlit remote. The television was very easy to set up. Other than finally getting a Samsung account, all the setup was done right on the screen. The apps I use such as Discovery , Amazon Prime, and Pluto are all supported and work much better than the ROKU TV I have in the bedroom. I found that the Discovery app doesn't have all the skipping and pausing that was going on with the other TV. I am also pleased that they kept the browser with this TV. I will be getting a cordless keyboard and mouse to use as I like the large screen for email and Facebook. Best of all was the price. I paid much more for my old Samsung 6 years ago. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend this model Samsung Smart TV.

TV works great but I found that the number of audio-out interfaces was limited to an HDMI and a video interface. I needed an analog sound interface to connect to my pre-existing Bose sound system and none was available. It was necessary to purchase a new high quality sound bar to achieve the sound fidelity (and work with the video interface) that I wanted. The good news is that I found that the sound fidelity of the built-in TV speaker system was very good in comparison to the sound bar output; the main difference was that the sub-woofer is part of the sound bar.

Picture and setup were great. The tv has no rca audio outputs or bluetooth- so headphones can't be used with it. I have a kid who watches Callilou 4 times a day and danged if I'm going to listen to that. If you only need the speaker in the set or a wifi attached speaker, this tv is great. If you ever need headphones for it- you're out of luck.

I liked the price and the picture. I did shop around...checked out Target and Best Buy...talked with sales people regarding the purpose of the purchase and found the salesperson at Walmart understood the purpose of the purchase and how it would fit my needs. I purchased the TV for my 93 year old friend who has caretakers from 8-8. After 8pm all she listens to books on tape and public radio. She's an avid fan of politics and was missing a lot of the political commentary before the coronavirus-19. I wanted to give her the option of watching the news after 8pm. I didn't need anything fancy. Just something to provide her with options after her caretakers leave.

I chose this particular television because it was a known brand, would fit into the cabinet space vacated by the previous TV, and the price was reasonable. The picture is sharp and colours are true. Unfortunately, after 1-1/2 to 2 hours of use, the voices becomes garbled. This soon rectifies, but returns about 10 minutes later. This sequence continues. I returned the TV in the belief that there was something wrong with it, and purchased another, identical set that was available in the store at that time. The same problem is recurring! Research has indicated that some smaller TV's that provide very good picture and colour come with speakers that are small, which can be the source of this problem. Now I have to decide whether to purchase a piece of equipment that might solve this issue and/or start all over again with a completely different brand that I had not chosen because of an iffy reputation for quality; my choices are limited owing to the very specific size that I need.

Do not buy this Samsung tv. I found the same issue that I am having online, and when you call support, the issue is not recognized. The tv loses its internet connection every time you shut it off for a period of time. The only way to fix is to unplug it from the wall and replug. Not the way it should be.

Will take more time to figure out this controller as it has many buttons. Tried to control what channels to keep or delete but found it difficult so gave up. The picture is outstanding. I have a Visio smart TV as well and find it easy to use but picture not as good.

Was a gift for my daughter as an extra tv and she is loving it. Delivery was earlier than expected and it was out of the box and watching her favorite show in a matter of minutes. She is happy with the quality of the picture. I will repurchase the next time a tv is needed.

The Samsung 40" Class series 5 smart TV is the perfect size for my bedroom. The HD quality is great and the speaker sound is very good quality. Definitely feel like this was a great buy and great price. Set up was easy and was watching my favorite Hulu Series about 10 minutes
