[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV arrived without the necessary screws to attach the mounting legs. I had to buy them at my local hardware store. The audio quality leaves a lot to be desired. The setup menu does not offer enough options to adjust the audio quality.

Very good price for a mid-level 40" Smart TV. There have been many improvements since the 5-Series was first introduced but they come at a much higher price. This is a very good quality TV. I like Samsung TVs. I shopped around for a long time before I bought a Samsung 50" Smart TV for my living room. I am very happy with it. When I found this 40" TV for such a good price, I bought it for my bedroom.

Very nice picture and very affordable. Perfect tv for extra bedroom or smaller living area. May not have all the bells and whistles of the top model but it is totally adequate. Samsung always has a quality picture. And, it has the smart tv features. Very happy with this t.v. Good value.

I'm still trying to get the color adjusted. but when I get that adjusted I think the TV will be great. I bought a 3 year protection plan and was told that would be emailed to me, I still haven't received it yet. If it was was sent, please resend it to me. I don't know what the rating is on the purchase plan because I haven't received it yet.

I purchased this size tv because it was the right size for my medal shelving. However, I've noticed that it is hard to turn on; even when I try using different remotes and/or holding down the power button till it turns on. I've also tried unplugging the tv and re-plugging which doesn't always help. Otherwise, the picture quality and audio quality are great.

TV works great but I found that the number of audio-out interfaces was limited to an HDMI and a video interface. I needed an analog sound interface to connect to my pre-existing Bose sound system and none was available. It was necessary to purchase a new high quality sound bar to achieve the sound fidelity (and work with the video interface) that I wanted. The good news is that I found that the sound fidelity of the built-in TV speaker system was very good in comparison to the sound bar output; the main difference was that the sub-woofer is part of the sound bar.

I am really happy with the purchase I made, it meets my expectations. I always had Smart TVs from this company, for me they are the best. And I can also connect Apple cell phones and ipads, it is impressive, they also have availability for it to have been the best purchase I have made.

If it weren't for the "Samsung" logo, I could have mistaken this TV for one of those ultra-cheap economy brands. Not even 6 hours out of the box, a small gap developed between the plastic frame and the screen; bright backlight can be see at the edge of the display. Sound quality is outright poor. It may not not "smart" features, but my 2007 Vizio is a much better TV.

There isn't a better TV to view than a Samsung TV when it is set up to view in the Dynamic option in the menu to watch! It also has a wired Internet Connection option available with an Ethernet Cable to connect to the Internet for a variety of options on its TUBI Channel, which I found to be very informational, as well as educational! There are more than 60 various topics to chose to watch in all different genres that has ever appeared on Television in the past 90 years. Who said you can't have your cake and it too? With a Samsung TV, you can! P.S. I am going to order a back up Samsung TV because that one I bought from Target stopped working after 4 years, 6 Months, and 24 days and I paid $250.00 Dollars for it in 2019. We love Samsung TVs in general but purchased this one for our bedroom after college kid took older Samsung to her apartment. Then we bought a second one as a gift for mother in law. Big beautiful picture. Easy working features. Highly recommend it. No cons that I can think of but we just watch basic things no video gaming so can’t give a review as to that. Just a nice tv for the price and perfect size for bedroom or small tv room. I may add a sound bar just for fun by Samsung of course because they pair nicely together when by the same company.
