Not so sure about this one

I wish my older samsung smart tv wasn't failing. Your on your own to research and figure out how to use this thing. The remote has lots of tiny function keys. The tv does prompt you for device and wifi set up and defaults to free samsung tv. Beyond that, you're on your own. I personally don't appreciate the challenge thus the 3 rating.

This is my 3rd Samsung this is the smaller of the three. The other two are older and did not require a Samsung account which is annoying. The box clearing indicates HULU is a choice for steaming, and that is not the case. Yes, you can download from the WEB but cannot add for a choice. If you want to view HULU you have to continue to on on line each time. And NO its not on the apps to download like prime or Netflix and so on. That is my only complaint.

Highly satisfied

Was a gift for my daughter as an extra tv and she is loving it. Delivery was earlier than expected and it was out of the box and watching her favorite show in a matter of minutes. She is happy with the quality of the picture. I will repurchase the next time a tv is needed.

The ZOOM feature is disabled on my new 40" Samsung

It took a couple of hours to get it hooked up and registered today Every cable channel except one (GAC) is in a small format with big black bars on the sides of all the rest of the 150 channels, and on at least half there's also a top and bottom black bar. No more viewing area than my old tube 31" TV. On Picture setup there's supposed to be a ZOOM feature to customize how you want to fill the screen. The options are all there, but unfortunately the ZOOM itself is disabled and grayed out, only says "not available". That's all it would take to make it 'just right'. Since the black bars being constantly on, it will soon burn out the screen on the sides and ruin it. I can only watch so many RV shows on GAC and I need other channels! Picture is distorted to where some channels have the same viewing area as my old tube TV which had the picture reaching the sides but part of it would be cut off on both sides because it didn't have a wide screen. I don't understand why only one channel out of 150 fills the screen perfectly side to side and top to bottom. I don't understand why onllne Samsung says all you have to do to fix it is use the ZOOM when mine won't work. If nothing can be done I won't have any choice but to return it to the store. I REALLY want to like it! I hope Samsung sees this review and lets me know how to FIX IT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Samsung TV. First time today watching it (it arrived yesterday) and it has a nice clear picture. Compared prices with other retailers online and Walmart had the best price. Happy with it so far. I just need to learn my remote and read my booklet that came with it.

Like Samsung TV as it offers two Korea channels

Will take more time to figure out this controller as it has many buttons. Tried to control what channels to keep or delete but found it difficult so gave up. The picture is outstanding. I have a Visio smart TV as well and find it easy to use but picture not as good.

Rushed to be made—out of stock!!!

I like Samsung tv’s. I have 2 others in the house. When 1st ordered they were out of stock. 2weeks went by. They had some. Ordered none, and worked ok for about a week. Then I got a light bar on the very top center of the screen. About 8” long by 1/4” thick. Going to call for a replacement.

Okay for the low price.

Considering I paid $1,100 for my last Samsung 40-inch back in 2007, I would say this 2019 model was a good buy for the price at $239. However, the previous one had a great built-in swivel stand and a much more consistently high quality picture. The new one's picture is bright one time I'm watching it and dim the next. I'm sure the extra apps availability is a plus to people into that, but I'm just a regular cable viewer.

Petite Perfect Powerhouse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The N5200 series delivers a native 1080p (Full HD) resolution, providing twice the pixel density of standard HD displays. The inclusion of PurColor technology ensures accurate color reproduction, while Micro Dimming Pro analyzes the screen in zones to optimize contrast between deep blacks and bright whites. Digital Clean View serves as a functional noise-reduction tool, improving the clarity of legacy or non-HD content. Smart Features and Connectivity This model utilizes the Tizen-powered Smart Hub, which offers a consolidated interface for streaming applications like Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video. It includes: Ports: 2 HDMI inputs and 1 USB port for external media. Wireless: Built-in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct for mobile-to-TV mirroring. Integration: Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for basic voice-controlled functions. Audio and Build The TV features a 2-channel 20W speaker system. While the audio is sufficient for standard dialogue in small-to-medium rooms, it lacks the low-frequency depth found in premium models. The physical design is functional, weighing approximately 15.9 lbs with the stand, and is compatible with VESA wall mounts. Verdict The Samsung N5200 is a high-value entry-level unit for users prioritizing picture clarity and smart functionality over advanced gaming features or high-fidelity audio. It is best suited for bedroom or kitchen environments where a 40-inch footprint is optimal.

Terrible delivery practices.

My issue was with the delivery of the TV. The delivery person didn't ring the doorbell, and to make matters worse they actually placed the TV against the front door so that the door couldn't be opened. I really don't understand what that individual was thinking.
