I bought this for my Dad and sisters for Christmas. They didn’t have any smart TVs. They were so excited that they could watch Disney Plus etc. One of my sisters is going to buy one for her bedroom. We have 4 of these TVs in our house in various sizes. One is curved. They are easy to set up and the graphics are awesome. I will only buy Samsung!

This is a good tv. I do get hulu on this one. Great picture. Not so great sound. I went into settings and chose optimized option for sound. My tv stand can support a 43”. But what I really love about this one, is that it is 40”. I can still set my beloved knic nac by the tv.

So far I love this TV. This is the second Samsung TV I've purchased the first one I bought 10 years ago and it still works like a charm. What I dislike about this TV is the fact that this is an online order only item and the first one I ordered arrived with a cracked screen and I had to return and wait for another to be shipped. The next three things I dislike about this TV and what prevented me from giving 5 stars is the app buttons like Hulu and Netflix are not on the remote control, next the speakers aren't extremely loud but loud enough for my bedroom. Last but not least the TV loses internet connection at least twice a week this is probably due more to living in a two story home and having the TV on the first floor and the router on the second floor. The picture quality is outstanding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Samsung TV. First time today watching it (it arrived yesterday) and it has a nice clear picture. Compared prices with other retailers online and Walmart had the best price. Happy with it so far. I just need to learn my remote and read my booklet that came with it.

Right now TV is not completely set-up. Problem with router info! Have to wait for my provider get things straighten'd out. It is on tv stand and cables on but wont hold internet..need cables checked,moved. This virus is slowing down my gttg this done! Give better review later on!

The Samsung 40" Class series 5 smart TV is the perfect size for my bedroom. The HD quality is great and the speaker sound is very good quality. Definitely feel like this was a great buy and great price. Set up was easy and was watching my favorite Hulu Series about 10 minutes

Perfect bedroom TV. Beautiful picture. Lightweight and easy to move around if needed. I have owned this TV for a year now and couldn't be happier about the purchase. I would recommend this for anyone who is considering it. I was reading some of the "complaints" about this TV and they were laughable. The remote is not really "complicated" but it is "sophisticated", the buttons are hard for me to read but it's not their fault that I'm old and blind. They did however use a braille type system to make it easier. Another idiot posted how the Smart app or whatever invaded his privacy by giving up his location and other information. The TV does not require the use of this app to function and the fact that it works off a "Smart Phone" makes his entire review hilarious. Worrying about the privacy of an app that goes on a device that knows your location at all times and can randomly take pictures, videos and eaves drop on your conversations is simply ludicrous. Great TV!

Having trouble using this tv. However I changed cable carriers and cant figure out how to get this thing to work with the new service. Super simple to put together and hook up. Picture is nice. I am sure once I get it figured out it will be fine. Samsung makes good reliable products. Not really easy to use for the inexperienced.

Love the Samsung TV Plus feature giving loads of free movies and TV shows. The set has very good sound, an excellent picture and was very easy to set-up. Operates great on wi-fi but also works great in combination with an air antenna. I like this set so much that I have now ordered a second one for the other bedroom.

This replaced a 40" that went bad after 10 years. Bought this size because of space limitation. Set up was considerably more complex than original (thanks to my Son for his skill in putting it togethe). Picture is great, but only time will tell how well it holds up. Great price and delivery! This size is getting hard to find...thanks Sam's!
