I purchased this TV for my 75 year old mom and had it shipped to her in Mississippi. A friend set it up for her and she called me so excited about the clarity of the pictures and words. She likes how when you change the channels it tells you what channel you’re watching. For the price this is a no brained. My mom is a tough nut to crack and absolutely loves this TV. I would definitely recommend this TV for anyone looking for something in this price range.

good choice for our bedroom, did not need to mount i on the wall and we have a good size bedroom my wife likes the size and picture quality, one hint adjust the picture quality up for best quality pic.

Pic %26 sound are great, install not so much. Legs were tricky but the headache came having to enter too much info to get the TV to work. Worse than installing new computer. Too many useless features %26 I didn't like giving you my email address. Finally, was surprised to find that I had to use my Cox remote to have access to all functions. You should disclose this to consumers. Backward technology.

This is my second 5-series 40” and is good for a bedroom or other small space. It has a good crisp picture. Samsung has been steadily improving the “smart” in their smart TVs over the last several years both expanding the apps offered and its stability. I’m a cord cutter and so use a streaming device, but cable/satellite users would probably be satisfied. Samsung has also improved the remote for this model by adding dedicated Netflix, Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus buttons. One criticism that remains though is that the remote buttons don’t illuminate.

Really wasn’t set up. Screen and sound are very clear. Happy with purchase. Also easy curbside pickup at Sams.

Great picture quality, the remote is small and hard to work with, it tried my patience to download new apps and doesn't support some. Once it is set up its easy to use

I liked the TV. It looked good. I returned it because I didn't like it as much as another TV that I tried out before this one. The reasons that I didn't like the TV was the interface for streaming. The TV continually played some show in the background making it very distracting and obnoxious. It was also not any less glitchy than the other TV's that I tried out. It did not seem to have as an efficient way of getting to the streaming apps that I used. It also did not have some of the features that I liked on the other TV's I tried. So, the TV was not all that bad, it was just that it did not have the functions that I wanted and saw on other TV's. It was not my cup of tea.

Love the TV. Excellent for the price paid. On the downside, remote is complicated, buttons are small and without lights. It is very difficult to use in the dark Tried a replacement remote but will not handle the home functions.

The TVs it’s self Is pretty simple set up And the overall picture quality wasn’t as perfect as I imagine that a Samsung is. Too blurry and definitely picture quality isn’t as top notch as many other but for the price is just simple daily used and not for movie etc.

My problem was not with the quality of the TV, which being a Samsung, I'm sure is excellent. My problem was that the front of the shipping carton (screen side) was punched in with sufficient force to catastrophically shatter the screen. Shame on Samsung for not providing screenside internal protection. Shame on Sam's Club if the damage occured while in your possession and/or shame on the carrier for mishandling the carton.
