I love Samsung and so when i decided I wanted a smart tv they were my 1st choice, the picture is clear but the tv is slow, idk if its just the tv itself or my internet w/ Charter. It came with a lot of useless channels that dont interest me and for the local channels I do air tv. The signal is weak and I keep losing channel 2 and 4. I think Im going to switch back to my old flat screen. I wasnt impressed. Nice price for what you get but was expecting more. Again it could just be my internet but idk

The reason I only gave 4 stars is that the 40 inch model does not come equipped to mount it on a bracket. There are no holes with threads on the back of the TV. You have to purchase adapters and bolts to mount it yourself. I like everything about my previous and current purchase of Samsung TV's.

Very good price for a mid-level 40" Smart TV. There have been many improvements since the 5-Series was first introduced but they come at a much higher price. This is a very good quality TV. I like Samsung TVs. I shopped around for a long time before I bought a Samsung 50" Smart TV for my living room. I am very happy with it. When I found this 40" TV for such a good price, I bought it for my bedroom.

I have purchased this 40” Samsung twice and have both times have been impressed with the picture quality of the 40” Samsung and the fact that it is a smart tv and does more than any other regular flat screen at a very good price Unfortunately while putting the stand on the tv I accidentally left something under the screen which made a crack sound and a foot wide black bar went straight across the screen. My fault I should have checked before I put the screen face down. An expensive error I hope nobody else makes. The tv was great and that’s why I purchased another one

This is a great tv for you office or patio setting. Clear picture and excellent sound. Also, included are channels from Samsung when you link your account. I like the different features that are included; ApplePlay, can be used as a computer monitor, dobly sound, phone can be used as a remote with app, etc... I'm glad I purchased this TV.

The tv itself was great. The thing I had a problem with was the delivery and the condition the package came. First of all, whoever delivered it DID NOT ring the doorbell to alert me of it and I was at home and second, there were huge holes in the bix which indicated just how the package was handled. Thankfully there was no damage to the unit itself. The rating on the tv was almost a five in my opinion but the service I received from Wal-Mart on the delivery gets a big fat 0 stars. I'll NEVER buy another tv from you guys again, not even in the store.

Will take more time to figure out this controller as it has many buttons. Tried to control what channels to keep or delete but found it difficult so gave up. The picture is outstanding. I have a Visio smart TV as well and find it easy to use but picture not as good.

It had two HDMI Ports and the picture is good considering the price paid. If it had been over $500 I would have given it two stars but for $269.99 it is five stars. I don't understand why the power cord was a little short but I'll overlook that as it just makes it difficult to move around but I really don't think it's an issue for me personally. Shipping was two days and I couldn't see any issue with dents, drops or anything of concern. Very happy with the set as a bedroom extra.

The picture and features are fine but the sound in the lower registers is atrocious. It literally sounds like the bass speaker is blown. I cant listen to music or programs with dramatic music in the background. I'd return the tv but its already mounted. So sad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV arrived without the necessary screws to attach the mounting legs. I had to buy them at my local hardware store. The audio quality leaves a lot to be desired. The setup menu does not offer enough options to adjust the audio quality.
