i think it’s pretty weird for a smart tv to not be able to get hulu. i like that you get free tv from samsung without having to hook up to cable. it has neflix and other apps... but no hulu just really makes no sense. i almost returned the tv because i use hulu so much

This TV is just right for or needs. We had two(2) criteria in our shopping for a TV to replace our old system. Number 1 was it had to fit the area and number 2 the technology required both onboard DTV (OTA - ASTC) tuner as well as WIFI connectivity. We are pleased with the functionality of the set with minor exception. The E-Manual is beyond my ability to understand. I printed the manual (same as E-Manual but in paper) finding it much easier to configure and access the sets features. Picture quality is much better that the old TV but sound is so-so. A small but annoying design is the remote, it lacks tactile signal so requires you to look at it to access services. After weeks of use I still have not developed "muscle memory" allowing me to use the remote in low light. One other annoyance is my inability to add apps that I want from other sites and the ability to hide or remove the preset apps, none of which do I want but constantly stumble into by blindly pressing the wrong button on the remote, oh ya, in the dark it is easy to get the remote upside down in your hand and end up selecting something you then spend time getting out of. We only use the onboard WIFI to keep the software up to date. We us an external HDMI WIFI connection to get the apps we want.

I bought this TV a month ago and I tell you that I am beyond pleased with it. The color, the clarity, and the pixels are amazing! Samsung Smart TV has thousands and thousands of channels and free apps. From movies and TV shows, as far back as over 60 years old, to current, it is unbelievable! You can even connect the television with your mobile device, on the go. You can even maneuver through your cell phone. It's really smart. I didn't have to get cable, just Internet. Meaning, I'm saving a ton of money. I'm planning on purchasing another one of these within the next 3 weeks. This product is underrated and well worth the money! This TV is okay. The reviews are correct, the picture is not clear when viewing from an angle. You must look at the TV head-on from a distance to experience a clear picture. Also, this TV has defects. Sometimes, when you turn on the TV the sound is out, other times the sound is extremely loud. Also, sometimes the TV is black when trying to view YouTubeLive. You have to unplug the TV or run a diagnostics to fix these issues. This Full HD is not worth the money. I wish I would have bought HD or another brand. Also, the app menu is too small and you can not arrange the apps in the order that you want.

great picture, good sound, and an excellent purchase when it was on sale, but... the samsung software is clumsy and not at all intuitive. it connects to my windows machines easily, but not at all to any of our tablets or google phones with android operating systems. multiple attempts to connect through various samsung and google apps, as well as other 3rd party apps, have been wasted time. in a recent inquiry with samsung, it was made very clear that google and samsung products are not at all compatible at this basic level. the next time i need a television, i will shop more carefully, and will not purchase a samsung. changing my brand of television will be easier and less expensive than being forced to change all of our other equipment.

We needed a new TV for our bedroom and after checking reviews for multiple brands and models, we chose the 40” Samsung N5200. The set up was very easy, especially if you download the SmartThings app. The TV does most of the set automatically and requires very little input. We are especially pleased with how easy this TV is to use, finding apps, down loading them and putting them in whatever order you want is a breeze. The picture is very clean and sharp and we love the auto dimming since it’s in our bedroom. We also love the auto turn off feature so we don’t have to set the sleep timer every night, the TV automatically does it every night at the time we choose. We were so happy with this TV, we returned to the store and bought a 55” UHD Samsung for our family room and love it so far as well.

I had gotten a Vizio with a warranty in December 2019. We accidentally bumped it walking past it and one of the stands tipped off the TV stand and it cracked the entire inside. The warranty at Walmart Sadly and angrily DOES NOT cover accidents. So, a friend of ours actually bought us the new Samsung we have now. We did purchase another warranty, just incase anything technical went wrong, however unsure what it actually covers. The Samsung is MUCH easier to use, has better free movies/shows and has a much better sound.

it constantly needs to be reset to factory setup in order for the software to work. in about less than 6 months of ownership i have reset to the factory setup 5 times already. the apple air play stops working, the apps don't work and many other software issues.

The TV itself is great, it's the remote that I have a problem with. Who creates a remote with no back light? I am constantly fumbling with the remote when I watch TV at night because I can't see anything on the remote because there's nothing there to illuminate the keys. I've had my TV just over a year and I STILL have not memorized the where useful buttons on this remote are because it is not intuitive. That's a no brainer Samsung. Do better!

i didnt realize when buying this television that hulu was not an app i could download on my tv. every other app i want, i can get except hulu, which is very disappointing because its my main way of streaming. i wish i didnt preemptively get rid of my apple tv so i can still access hulu. i can screan share from my phone to my tv but that is not the ideal way to go. also, i have yet to be able to set up the smartthings app on my phone with my tv. i know thats a matter of calling the support and getting that fixed. the television is very responsive, set up easily to my sound bar(vizio), and the remote isnt too difficult to get used to. simple set up to start with and it even has a small selection of cable channels!
