I bought this tv for a very special person,babymomma.The delivery was on time. It seems to be ok as far of the box condition.Im yet to see it after it connected.I will review it after they return home.Spectrum is having Samsung smart TVs as a preferred tv for their service.This is my reason to purchase one for a gift.

Very easy to set up. TV provides step by step instructions. We purchased a new TV a year ago and had no idea how to set it up. We had to get help to come in and set TV up. This TV, the Samsun 40, was a piece of cake to set up. Highly recommended.

When my old non-smart HD tv finally died I shopped around for a good replacement. Samsung has a good reputation so I checked various retailers for a size that fits my small house. This one is a lot bigger than my old one, and a bit higher price than other stores, but was available to pick up the next day and close to home. The picture is excellent and the support from Samsung was too. I am more than happy with this purchase.

Very good price for a mid-level 40" Smart TV. There have been many improvements since the 5-Series was first introduced but they come at a much higher price. This is a very good quality TV. I like Samsung TVs. I shopped around for a long time before I bought a Samsung 50" Smart TV for my living room. I am very happy with it. When I found this 40" TV for such a good price, I bought it for my bedroom.

I purchased this size tv because it was the right size for my medal shelving. However, I've noticed that it is hard to turn on; even when I try using different remotes and/or holding down the power button till it turns on. I've also tried unplugging the tv and re-plugging which doesn't always help. Otherwise, the picture quality and audio quality are great.

The TV comes with no instructions on how to operate it. It does come with a QR Code that you're supposed to scan in order to get directions, and a link to set up the TV. Since I live out in the country without internet, I have no way of programing the thing. I resorted to just winging it, but it keeps defaulting back to looking for an antenna, not the satellite. Very frustrating.

Looks nice and was a good price. But I don’t like that when I’m watching tv some times it changes to the Home Screen by itself. So annoying. Also some of the apps work so slow. I don’t like that some shows in the apps are low by commercials are loud. There’s a lot of technical issues that I listed that don’t happen with the other tvs in my house so I know it’s just this one. So I give it 1 star! I would trade it for a different brand if I could.

Great TV for the money. We have it outside on our enclosed patio. We only use an inexpensive TV antenna (rabbit ears) and we are able to get 40 channels and we get fantastic reception. And the best thing about using just an antenna on one TV is that we are now able to pick up our local channels that show our favorite NFL teams FOR FREE! No more extra cost for expensive cable or streaming services. HAPPY COWBOY CUSTOMERS!

Both of my Vizio TVs Have a habit of freezing after only a year of use. I had my tube TV, that still worked when I bought this mind you, for 32 years and these TVs don’t even last year. Gotta love consumerism. Just go with us and yell or Samsung. I will never give Visio my business again

Ordered online via the SAMs app on my phone. No problem at all. Extremely easy to purchase and exactly what we wanted another Samsung 40 inch. Arrived by FedEx. Our previous Tv was still working fine and was a Samsung but 10 years old was not a smart Tv. Easy to get working with the wifi streaming. Comes with several preloaded apps. We were able to download the Discovery Plus app no problem. Would purchase again. A+.
