My Fellowes shredder finally broke after almost 20 years and of course they don't make that model anymore. I visited Sam's Club online to search for something comparable and this one was the closest to what I had. It is smaller but definitely powerful and I absolutely love it. Best purchase I could have made. It is easy to empty, does not jam, takes 18 sheets with no problem at all, credit cards, etc. Works for hours without having to stop, the key is to shut it off and empty the bin when it is full then turn it back on and it does not even need to cool down. I've done this several times and not once have I had to stop shredding after 40 minutes and wait for a 20-minute cooldown. I would definitely recommend, and I would definitely buy this again!!

This is the 1st shredder I've owned with such a narrow paper insert opening. After 1 month of use, this shredder operates as designed. However, I'm very disappointed that the slot or opening to insert papers to be shredded is not much wider than 8-1/2". That means I either fold over or physically tear in half paper wider than 8-1/2" to shred.

Great purchase! Worth the price. This shredder does everything it claims. Sizeable bin. I usually only load 5-7 pages max, but it goes through them easily. Plastic cards, no problem. I had two boxes of backlogged shredding to do after my last shredder died. It made it through those stacks without once jamming or stopping to rest. No overheating issue. It's also very quiet. My cats were not at all disturbed by the noise (they hid when the old noisy shredder was running), but instead they sad watching the papers feed and at the window in the bin as the confetti fell in. So quiet. No regrets for this purchase.

I ordered this Member's Mark Micro-Cut Shredder because I needed a new shredder. It's so quiet and it works wonderfully. I'm very pleased with all it can shred and how easy it is to use and empty. I highly recommend this shredder if you need one. I've had a few over the years and this one is the BEST.

I wanted a little bit heavier and bigger storage capacity shredder so when my other one quit working, I found this on line and it has been great! Just what I wanted exactly. It has a higher capacity shredder 18 vs 12 sheets that I had before(although I never run that many through at once), it is much quieter and holds much more in shreds than my other one.

This replaced a very heavy duty shredder that wore out over more than 10 years of use. I like the smaller size, less operating noise, ease of emptying the collection cannister, and especially the easy feed. It also shreds the paper into smaller pieces. I haven't tried 18 sheets at once but it easily handles 4-5 sheets at a time that I feed it. Overall I wish the old shredder which was way more expensive had quit sooner.

Very impressive capabilities especially for the price. The shredder is very quiet and efficient at securely shredding my documents into a confetti type material. Works great on credit card and dvds as well as paper products. Easy to see when it’s getting full and there is also notification from the machine when it’s getting full. I would highly recommend this machine even though it just has Member Mark name it and not some office equipment big name. So far the quality seems just fine to me. The 18 page max makes for fast work of your shredding needs.

This shredder greatly exceeded my expectations. It effortlessly chews through old credit and debit cards, CDs and DVDs, junk mail, and any old documents that need to be destroyed. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was as it pulverized all of the items listed above. I also found that when it came time to empty the hopper, I was able to easily empty it into a trash bag without making a mess. Bottom line is that I was so happy with this shredder’s performance that I bought a second one to give to my sister.

I bought this for my folks. The only complaints they had was the box it was shipped in was really big (because the shredded was big). My folks have mobility issues so moving the box from the front porch over a step was quite the challenge. I thought the shredded was much smaller when I ordered it too. The plus side is now they get tired of shredding before the shredder does. If you are into shredding all your mail once you have looked at it, this is the shredder for you.

This will be my 2nd shredder in the last 25 years and have used other shredders as well. This one does micro cuts like my first unit (which also came from Sam's). My 1st unit ran just fine and done it's job well but lacked the 3 upgrades this unit does have; An automatic turnoff when the bin is full, wheels for easy movement (mine is stored under a desk until needed) and is near silent. One cannot hear the machine running outside of the room it's in, and can barely hear it while in the same room!
