We bought this mattress 5 months ago. For the 1st 2 weeks, we could not sleep due to the gas odor. We thought by airing it out, it would go away. It is still extremely bad after all this time. The odor gives us headaches and congestion every night. It is too expensive to throw away, but I am concerned it is dangerous to sleep on. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone. Sam’s certainly should not be selling this mattress.

I've been putting off shopping for a mattress for years even though I was way over do just the thought was overwhelming because picking out the right one takes time but I was waking up sore each morning feeling tired was effecting my mood at work that's when I knew I could no long put if off any more.I went to Sam Club after shopping online and reading reviews and decided on Serta sleeptogo I've had it now a littler over a week I sleep so much better and wake up feeling rested no more soreness this is a great mattress I've wrote a review on any product before but reading reviews on this product help me so much in deciding to purchase this product that I wanted to do the same for someone else, the only negative thing about it is my mattress had a crease down the middle from the way it was rolled up in the box that never fully inflated I had to put form pad underneath the mattress to even it out.

I?d like to think that I?m a smart shopper. I thoroughly investigate the products I purchase by looking at reviews on the website and on YouTube and other sources and hope I?m making a good purchase. I bought the mattress and got it home and it was really easy to assemble. But oh man, this mattress is like sleeping on bricks. Firm is not the word it?s more like extra firm. It was so bad that I had to sleep on the couch as I just couldn?t endure the back and hip pain. I hate to return anything to the store because I try to make things work but this mattress is a no go. No more mattresses in a box for me.

We love our new mattress...unlike other memory foams that ship in a box, we slept on it the first night. It is definitely very firm. I would prefer not so firm but my husband likes it and says it has helped his back. I find it easy to fall asleep on this mattress and it seems pretty cool with the gel. Great price too!

I tried out the 10" Gel memory foam in the store and it felt pretty comfortable so i figured i'd get the 12" I read this was a medium firm... it was like sleeping on a mat from gym call in high school. I found a mattress i like.... I am a plush mattress user for sure. I gave it a full week to let the foam get it's shape. Box came with no paperwork of any kind... But, found out on the net it can take 24-48 hours for the mattress to gain it's full shape. Waited a full week... after one night it wasn't gonna work for me. Wish Sam's had this in store to try before buying but, the return was super easy so... that part was good.

Our new mattress arrived yesterday. It was easier than we expected to set up. We slept on it just five hours after removing it from the packing materials and placing it on the bed. No odor that we noticed, and very comfortable. I would describe it as firm with a soft surface. We are very pleased.

I love my mattress. As soon as I felt this mattress in the store I knew my search for the perfect mattress was over. I had to order online and eight days later it was delivered to my porch. It was easy to handle and open. It expanded quickly. Yes I recommend this mattresses. It is the right mix of gel and memory foam. We have tried this out for a few weeks now. I know it just my opinion, but I was so hoping this would make a difference for me. I’m about 5ft 120 lbs and had a car wreck years ago. I have neck issues and was hoping this would allow me to get a little more sleep. I know it’s not going to fix me, but I need sleep. My neck and shoulders have hurt worse. It’s very firm. It may be my mistake completely, but I really thought this was one of those mattresses that when she lying and it kind of phones in my woods around you. If that’s what you’re looking for this is definitely not the one. Not saying this is not a good mattress for somebody, but I definitely need to do some more research before I go out and shop again. Saw this mattress in a consumer reports article on mattresses. This mattress was rated 6th overall out of about 50, the mattresses rated above all cost between $1000-3000. So I thought I would try this one because Sams had it on sale. The 1st week it was a little hard to get used to because I had been sleeping on box springs all my life but after that I slept like a baby which isn’t that easy for a 60 year old big guy. I used to wake up with sore hips on my old bed and I could only sleep about 7 hours because I would get so uncomfortable. But that is in the past with Serta, thank you Serta for making a bed where dreams are made! I have been able to sleep and lounge around in bed for up-to 12 hours. The only downside is I think I’m getting lazy.

We looked at this mattress because of it's Consumer Reports rating. We were purchasing for a RV so wanted the mattress in a box for easy installation. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis so comfort was also at the top of my list. Hard mattress or too soft ones are very bad for me causing a lot of pain. This mattress is wonderful, I sleep great and don't wake up stiff and sore like I am much older. If you have chronic pain you should consider this mattress. The only downfall for me is the platform for the bed is raised and with this 12" mattress I have to stretch a bit to be able to get into bed. I am seriously considering a step stool to make it easier.
