This mattress is my absolute favorite. Not only do I long to be back in my bed every time I’m traveling, everyone who visits me, wants details on my mattress. I’ve had 3 family members buy one after visiting.

I got this mattress because it got a great review from consumer reports at an excellent price, but now that I have it, I have to say it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on in my entire life, and I'm 53, and I'm a side sleeper, so that's saying something.

This is the second time I've purchased this mattress over the years, and I'll probably buy a third. It's incredibly comfortable – just firm enough, but not too firm, and it's great for people who are side sleepers. I got one several years ago for my queen-sized bed, and I just bought a king-size for my son and his wife for their new home. I'll most likely replace my current king-size mattress with this one in the near future because it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on! Highly recommend!

The Serta SleepToGo 12" Gel Memory Foam Luxury Mattress is wonderful. I loved the fact that we didn't need a big truck to haul it in since it came rolled in a box. It was packaged very well by the manufacturer. The mattress is so comfortable. On our old mattress, I would wake up whenever my husband turned over in bed. I no longer have this problem. I am sleeping so much better now. I also love the fact that I don't get too warm while sleeping on this mattress. I would buy this mattress again!

This bed was easy to set up if you already have your frame ready. I set it up at 8:30am and left it "bare", and then slept on it that evening at 11:30pm. I am a side sleeper and I like to be close to the edge. This mattress does not disappoint. It is firm to the edge and has held it's shape for a few weeks now. Also, this mattress seems a bit firm when you first sit on it, but as soon as you get into your spot the mattress gives just enough that you are super comfortable. The bed is not bouncy.

The first time I laid on this mattress it felt really good on my back. I was even happier the next morning when I found I wasn't as stiff as I usually was when I got out of bed. Now I wake up with no pain or stiffness. I would highly recommend this mattress.

I was considering more expensive bed-in-box mattresses (all $1000 plus online), most were hybrids, based on YouTube reviews. I opted instead for this much lower-priced memory foam. For the low price, I thought, well, if it sucks, I won't have invested too much in it. To my surprise, this is a really good mattress. I thought I wanted something really firm because I am larger and had been sleeping on an unsupported, worn out coil mattress. I was worried this would be too soft. It's not. In fact, if anything, it might just be a touch too firm. That said, it is super comfortable. Keep in mind, there will be a little bit of "sink" into the spot you are sleeping in (it is memory foam), so if you move over out of the spot, you might feel the incline a little bit. But, so far, after a couple of weeks, the sunken spot doesn't remain day to day, i.e., it seems to re-firm after getting up for the day. The sink-in does not bother me that much, but I enjoy moving out of that spot, onto a firmer unsunken spot, which is also comfortable. I think it will help also to rotate the mattress fairly regularly. As for heat retention, I had a cotton mattress cover that breathed well, and there was no heat build up. I switched to a higher quality "waterproof" mattress cover, and I noticed more heat retention than before, so I may go back to the cotton one. Its not the mattress but the mattress cover I selected. In short, for the low price I paid on sale, this is a super-comfortable, not too soft, and apparently high quality queen mattress. I have it on a very firm, metal-slatted platform, which works great (no more box springs). Are there more comfortable, more expensive mattresses? Probably, but I don't know. But spending more than $400 or $500 on a mattress seems insane to me. For the price and comfort, I am very pleased with this one (and I am often very difficult to please with these types of things).

We found the mattress to be comfortable, not hot as others mentioned it to be. We were worrisome that the mattress would not hold up well with a heavier weighted sleeper and we found there to be no issues. With a traditional mattress I could feel every movement from my husband and my pets, not with this mattress

The mattress comes in a box.... wasn't sure how it works; but, after getting and finally setting up I wish I had bought at the store. The box arrived without any of the wheels to help get it around, also was quite damaged (the box). The mattress is fully compressed and wrapped so it fits smaller than the size of the box; which leave plenty of room for movement when shipping... there is no extra padding or anything to keep the box in shape when shipping. The mattress is good and the other part that wasn't quite up to snuff was it does take a while to get the mattress (unscrunched) so to speak. They don't say exactly how long, but it has been a week or so and the mattress still hasn't formed itself like in the picture. I'm thinking the one in the picture above was way before they put it into the shrink wrap and vacuum sealed bag. Went to the store to add a topper to the mattress as a result to get more of a square shape to the bed. Next time I'm going to try browsing and buying at the local Sam's Club.

It's a little too firm for side sleeping, as it makes my hips and lower back hurt if I sleep on my side too long. It's fine for back or stomach sleeping. One side of the bed is already more worn in than the other side after only a month, and I feel like a memory foam mattress shouldn't be uneven like this.
