I am definitely in all the durability of these plates. I tested them to the max today. I normally drain off all my bacon grease into a glass bowl or something etc when I'm cooking. But I thought I will test a plate to see if it can hold up as well as when it cools off I can just throw it all away. Poured hot grease straight from the baking sheets into the plate. No issues.

They are strong enough to firmly hold our grilled hotdogs, bratwursts, burgers and sides. They stand up to messy foods like baked beans too. They come in designs that will work for any occasion. I feel like these are a better environmental choice over foam or plastic plates when you really need to have a disposable product.

Using regular forks and steak knives; the plates help up like a champ. And we got to toss it all away. Excellent all around

These are great for those who eat alone and hate doing dishes. I like them through the working week day schedule to help cut down cleaning time and more time for relaxing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a number of years, we purchased a store brand of heavy duty plates. Such an improvement over the regular plates that tended to get soggy, to bend and drop whatever you were holding and just generally are not acceptable. Then, I thought well, not much more for the Dixie brand and I knew that from my childhood (and I am 73 now) Dixie was a brand my family used for cups, plates and such. I tried these and found that the improvement was as dramatic over the store brand heavy duty as it had been over the regular plates. Worth a bit more for the peace of mind knowing what you put on the place will likely make it across the room...

This is the second pack of Dixie plates that i purchased that had LIVE bugs in the SEALED package. The first time i tried to still use tem but couldnt because there were bugs on every plate! Disgusting! By the way, these packs of plates were purchased TWO months apart.

We purchase them because they are pretty have a lip (so it is forgiving for little people when their plates tip alittle) and very durable so that no accidents occur due to leakage. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Dixie Ultra plates for many years. We began using the 10 inch plates when we became empty nesters. We were both still employed so it was just so much easier and made for less dish cleanup when cooking meals for two. I especially like that the plates do not leak. Now, though years have passed, I am widowed but I still choose to restock at my local wholesale store for when I have family come for holidays or other special family gatherings.
