I've tried store brands and become so angry with the horrible quality. We had some pretty heavy foods, such as sloppy joe's, spaghetti & meatballs, rib eyes, etc. They performed beautifully with no spills, no buckles and no "food bleed through." We were impressed and thought they were well worth the extra money over other brands we had previously tried.
