[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I serve my cheesy lasagna on these. It holds up very well under the weight of a HEAVY lasagna. We love lots of cheese, sauce, noodles, and meat in ours. I can also put a side on the plate with no issues.

Dixie states it can hold up to 2lbs on these Dixie Ultra Paper Plates and they are not lying, I tried it. I put 2lbs of frozen chicken on a plate and took it out to grill and the plate did not fold, break, and the chicken did not fall off. The juices from the chicken did not soak through and that is another thing that is claimed with these plates, which is true! The plates are cut resistant, microwave safe, and recyclable what more could you want but the food that goes on these very durable plates. I will never use another brand again.

When we have any gatherings where we know people will take food home (doggy bags)we are sure to stock up on these plates and those pesky newspaper rubberbands. We put food on one plate, use another upside down as a lid and place 2 rubberbands around the plates in an "x" . No mess no fuss, and yum yums on the run!

I finally decided to buy Dixie Ultra Plates and was pleased to find that they are sturdy and hold up well. I have bought store brands and other brands and I find that Dixie Brands are the best yet. They may be a little expensive but worth the money. As they say you get what you pay for.

I hadn't used paper plate products in years and I was pleasantly surprised with how well these worked. I used them for all types of meals and nothing ever leaked through, even when using knives to cut food up. They held up well, and even with heavier foods, I only had to use one.
