They stand up well in the microwave, hold a large amount of food without folding, and are priced well. We always have Dixie plates on hand.

What I like about Dixie is the sturdiness of the plate and how it holds up to piles of spaghetti and sauce without caving in. No messes to clean up after dinner and that makes me one happy Mom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dishwasher temporarily broke and I just didn't want to hand wash dishes so I decided to purchase these instead. I hadn't used paper plate products in years and I was pleasantly surprised with how well these worked. I used them for all types of meals and nothing ever leaked through, even when using knives to cut food up. They held up well, and even with heavier foods, I only had to use one.

I purchased a grocery club's version of the 10" paper plate and I have to say, that most foot either fell on the floor, or soaked through the actual plate. I've never had this problem with Dixie plates, and have learned my lesson. I am a Dixie Plate person forever!

I provide items for a high school robotics team that feeds approximately 40 people a night and need reliable, durable and strong plates for the meals. Dixie is the brand I always go to. I don't have to double-plate for heavy foods. They help in not having spills and allow for easy cleanup. I have trusted Dixie for over ten years in this capacity. It does handle heat very well, and after I took it out of the miicrowave, his sturdiness didn't change. I totally recommend it.
