[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I AM THE OLDEST OF 7. WE ALL GET TOGETHER ON THANKSGIVING AND MY SISTERS INSISTED ON GLASS PLATES. THEY DO THE DISHES BECAUSE I COOK. I ALWAYS FELT GUILTY. NOW I MAKE THEM USE THESE BEAUTIFUL DIXIE PLATES. THEY ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD THE WHOLE THANKSGIVING DINNER.

These are a little more expensive than the cheap white ones that get soggy & rip while you are trying to eat off them. You can even eat a steak off these one & they are still good at the end of the meal. I'll never buy anything but these, whether it is the dinner plate ir the dessert plate or the bowls! They are fabulous!

For years now I have bought Dixie plates and bowls over all the other brands because they were strong and held up to what I needed them for. Now I'm just aggravated because they are just as sorry and flimsy as the rest of the paper products but still cost an arm and a leg. I guess from now on I will leave Dixie on the shelf and buy the cheaper paper products.

We love Dixie. Great for when we forgot to wash the dishes!
