With 8-10 five-year-olds needing snacks every Sunday, these plates can be depended upon to withstand any "helper" and any unexpected snack event. At home, we grab the plates daily for informal dining and snacks, which the 12-year-old has about every 2 hours.

Needless to say we didn't have all our boxes unpacked, and we couldn't find our plates. So we rushed out and bought some Dixie Ultra plates for the party....best decision ever! They were great! Normally I do not like disposable plates because they are too flimsy and you have to stack 2-3 together to have a decent plate..not to mention they soak through and make a mess. Not the Dixie Ultra's though! These babies were tough, and not a single one soaked through! We were definitely amazed at the quality of these plates and will only be buying Dixie Ultra's from now on!!!

They were sturdy enough to hold the heaviest of items and the runny type foods did not leak through. They are also pretty which is wonderful for a family gathering.

I have bought bargain brand paper plates in the past and regret it every time. They are flimsy and when you have three "men" trying to load their plates, support is an important feature. While the support is important for the guys, it's the changing patterns on the plates that I love the most. I love the color combinations that brighten any table. No matter how rushed that meal might be, we are together, talking and loving our Dixie Ultra plates!!!!! Great product

I am definitely in all the durability of these plates. I tested them to the max today. I normally drain off all my bacon grease into a glass bowl or something etc when I'm cooking. But I thought I will test a plate to see if it can hold up as well as when it cools off I can just throw it all away. Poured hot grease straight from the baking sheets into the plate. No issues.

I am an empty nester, therefore no longer cook exotic 5 course meals. My eating habits have changed since I am the only one I am preparing food for. Simple and easy has become my mantra, and I like my clean-up to be the same. I have never experienced a leak/soak through, nor cut through. Ultra's our the greatest!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I serve my cheesy lasagna on these. It holds up very well under the weight of a HEAVY lasagna. We love lots of cheese, sauce, noodles, and meat in ours. I can also put a side on the plate with no issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We brought in the summer with our House Warming! It was not a "Traditional" house warming. With over 100 " Adults" having a blast on our 9 acres of wood land and trails. Dirt bikes, mini bikes, go-carts, Jarts ( yes jarts!) with a Ton of food! Dixie Ultra stood up to the test of the this rowdy loving bunch of people. We even used it for frisbee ( but I won't get into that here) We have announced that this will be an annual Ultra summer event, and by all means Dixie Ultra will be part of the tradition! I cant wait for the Summer!!!!

They have withstood my three year old and a plate full of spaghetti and meatballs, as well as, my husband with heavy bbq ribs and all the fixings. Thank you Dixie, you've made us lifetime fans!
