no optical input for sound bar

i bought this tv to replace another samsung tv and connect it to my sound bar. there is no optical cable input for digital audio out. no way for me to use my sound bar.

The DU72000F TV offers 3 HDMI ports and is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capable, allowing a seamless connection across multiple devices at a time. If your external device requires an Optical port, we recommend utilizing an HDMI to Optical Converter. These can be found at your local electronics store. Please also keep in mind that an Optical port can be found on our DU8000F Series and above. Nice TV, but lack compatibility with older devices

Like this TV, however the TV has fewer device connection ports that my older TV had. I am still unable, unsure how to hook up my Blu-ray, vhs, sound bar and cd players.

Color and sound

I've had my TV for a few months and I live it. The color and sound are great. I'm still having problems understanding some of the features but I'm getting there.

bluetooth unknown

I like all the free channels; The only problem I was loosing internet connection with my WIFI and I was picking up unknown bluetooth connection; WIFI Has to reboot.

Best TV

So I had a 32" and upgraded to a 55" Samsung Smart Tv. This is really fantastic. Free 5000 channels, able to sync my phone, clarity is pristine, easy to setup. All good

Samsung Du2000. Love the TV!!

I love the picture,and everything, but the thing I don't like is that doesn't have a optic port, to plug in sound bar, but I have it Bluetooth to the TV. I love my Samsung TV!!

Random power off

I bought the TV a few months back and it works great when watching via a usb connection. However, whenever we try to watch anything via streaming straight to the TV it shuts off randomly.

Hi Rwal21, Thank you for reaching out to us. If your TV appears to turn off by itself, try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions. See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > All Settings> General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer has been enabled and disable it. - Settings > All Settings> General > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off - Settings > All Settings> General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer If the TV continues to turn off by itself continuously, please get in touch with Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Samsung Plus is great limited connectivity

6th Samsung purchased in the last 3 years, love Samsung Plus TV and the many selections Not happy with the limited choices to connect sound bars; didnt realize that is where the saving was, with bluetooth being only viable option limits integration
