The crispness isn't what I expected, and there is a lag when the set is turned on before the main screen opens. It's OK, better than our 10 year old Samsung, but not as much as I'd hoped.

Hi Easy Riter, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your DU7200 TV’s image quality. The TV will upscale any content sent to it as best as possible. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen. Here are some tips to help improve picture clarity: 1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing. 2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box. 3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receivers, IPTV, and set-top boxes, to UHD or HD. 4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings 5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode. 6) For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings. Keeps signing me out

I have returned this model TV once already and this last one is going back too! This tv keeps signing me out of my samsung account which then deletes my samsung tv plus favorites channel list and also causes all app to not work. Tried factory & smart hub reset and nothing helps. So annoying! I also contacted Samsung support and no help there either. I have 2 other Samsung TVs that are maybe 2yrs old and have no problems. Could be a bad operating system on newer TVs. I won't be buying Samsung in the future

DVD cannot be connected

Cannot get to my DVD player to connect. It does not have an HDMI port and I bought a coaxial and HDMI connection. Whatever HDMI port I try to connect to, it only says it must be a Blu-ray. Kind of disappointing. There is nothing out there that indicated how to make this work. Trying to get a Bluetooth speaker connected was not easy either. I can see why older people become frustrated.

If the disc you are playing is a regular DVD, your Samsung TV should recognize the DVD Player without issue. It does not have to be a Blu-Ray player.
