Have you ever bought something in the last two decades and thought "they just don't make stuff like they used to"? Well, this is a perfect example. We bought this less than a year ago. But to be honest, after only one winter, the wood started cracking and peeling. And, honestly that's the only reason I'm writing this review. The design is excellent. The wood is terrible quality. I don't love that the swings aren't strong enough for adults. I'm 150 lbs and I cringe everytime my daughter asks me to swing by her.

The design is great. We had our set professionally installed 2 days ago. The wood is thin. The screws that came with the set break/crack the wood as it is being installed! I waited 1.5 weeks for the guys to come install it. It took them 2 days. The set had missjng screws and missing wood pieces that the installer had to run and buy from homedepot. The set is not sturdy at all. We bought extra wood and added to support (technically doubled the ladder). Added extra wood to the house, to the climbing wall, and to the actual swing frame! It looks beautiful but horrible thin wood. The screws end came out from the other side of the wood panel! These screws are designed supposedly for this set. I have a 5 year old boy that loves to slide and swing. I thought this set is good! IT IS NOT. DO NOT BUY! 2 days after installation the wood that connects the swinging door on the play house cracked! We are calling the guy to come support/fix! My son is 50 lbs one child! He loves the set design and the house. We are DISAPPOINTED AT HOW CHEAPLY MADE this set is. We will call the company to address the issues. If this is something easy to uninstall i would have done it and returned it. I gave them a star for the design...... this deserves -100000. I was not able to add a photo..i will try to add later!

We bought this a month ago and so far have been extremely pleased. I cannot put a time frame on assembly, as we started and then my husband and children got Covid so it was start and stop but assembly went very smoothly for us. We are amazed at the sturdiness and durability. Overall we give a full 5-star review.

This swing set has already fallen over so many times in my backyard, despite us leveling the area and staking and weighing it down. The tube slide broke within a week of use. Our sons are 10 and 2 and the 10 yr old only weighs 56lbs so being overloaded wasn't the issue. We live on a 1 acre tract and I found this play ground bent, twisted, partially laying down so many times that its already past the point of safe use. Our back yard is breezy, but there is no reason this thing should have fallen over so many times! No storms came through, the thing would just take flight in the slightest breeze. I am so disappointed that we wasted $1800 on this! If you are wanting a swingset, don't go cheap. Your kids are worth more than this!

Product was delivered with one of the 5 boxes being completely ripped apart so we hope that we have all the parts. However, we wouldn't know at this point because it is still sitting in our driveway weeks later. After 3 calls to GoConfigure, each time I am told they are leaving a voicemail and texting the local installer and they will call me back, each time NO ONE even calls me back. No telling how long it will take to even get an installation date scheduled at this point. I'll update this review if things change, but at this point Sam's Club should not be selling assembly services if they cannot ensure the quality of the service being offered. I'm even ok with waiting, but at least return my calls when you say you will and schedule a date. At this point I would caution anyone with purchasing this product with any sort of assembly included.

This has been a disaster. They called to confirm delivery, I told them no one would be available the day they wanted to deliver. They told me they couldn’t control that… Okay, I make sure I am home for the delivery. They do not ring the doorbell, or notify me in any way that the item has been delivered. I look out my window and see boxes and a slide piled in the middle of my front yard. They are too heavy for me to move, now I have to worry about them getting stollen. Their response “this is the service you paid for”. Second we set up assembly for the 11th. The morning of our appointment, I’m called saying there is supposed to be rain so they are canceling the appointment and someone with reach out to reschedule. There was never any rain! I never received a phone call for reschedule. I have called this company every other day and are told they can’t get a hold of a tech and are escalating the situation. I still have no answers. I will be trying to figure out how to return this all together.

Normally I would build it myself from scratch, but for the price I figured I give it a shot. That way I do not have to draw blueprints and go out buy all the wood and hardware myself, which saves me a lot of time. I received the playground at a time I was extremely busy at work and knew I only had a couple of hours a day to work on it . The first day I put about 6h of work in, then I had 2 days I was only able to put in about 2-3. At that time it was pretty much finished, aside for some little stuff like the grill, sink, etc. So in total I put about 12h in by myself and it went fairly smooth. 2 pieces of advice:1. leave the wood on the boxes it came in, as there is a list of what is in which box. 2.sort your hardware, it will save you a lot of time looking for the right scews, or bolts, or whatever it calls for. In general it is good quality for the price, sometimes you do have to be careful putting screws in as they can be very close to the edges. Only had 2 pieces with a crack, but these were only designated to become table/trays, which obviously wasn't a big deal. Overall pretty satisfied.

My wife and I purchased this for our daughter who is two and she loves it. Her friends loved it at her birthday party. Everything was included in the boxes, I did not have to call and have lost parts shipped to me. It went together easily and I encountered minimal splitting of the wood while putting it together. The only thing I would ask is for the instructions on the large slide you have to assemble to be a little more clear.

My husband put this together entirely by himself. It says you need two people, but he was able to use some clamps and get it done on his own. It took about 25 hrs (spread out over a few days). He's tired and sore, but it turned out great. The quality is decent, although there are a few boards with cracks or chips (some small flaws). Our toddler is thrilled! It is definitely something that will grow with him for years to come. Overall, we are happy with our purchase! (We did buy a separate toddler swing and swapped out one of the lap swings for now)

After years of contemplating getting a swing set, we landed on this one due to all of the different features. We are not handy, so the $600 professional installation was a must for us because we wanted to make sure it was put together properly. The installers sent one man out to put it together. It took him about 8 hours the first day and about 4 hours the next day to finish. He was polite and professional, and worked very hard. He seemingly did a great job, or at least that’s what we thought. We were so happy with the swing set and the kids loved it. About a week after installation (Dec 2022), we started noticing issues, and new issues continue to appear daily. The most concerning being the whole balcony and tube slide area. The balcony is starting to droop down, which is an obvious safety concern, and we now have gapping and cracking in the tube slide, both at the top base where it connects to the balcony and in a part of the slide itself. We also discover new cracks throughout the wood on a regular basis. On top of the damage that’s occurring, even with the anchors, the structure of the swing set sways a concerning amount when my kids swing, even when they aren’t swinging at the maximum height that the swings would allow. My kids are 7 (70 lbs), 5 (39 lbs), and 2 (33 lbs), and it also constantly makes cracking and creaking noises when they play on it. They should be able to play on it freely, without us constantly worrying about further damage and safety issues. We reached out to Backyard Discovery, who did reply almost immediately to address our concerns; however, after reviewing the pictures they said it appears to be due to improper installation, so we were redirected to contact the installers, who were chosen by Backyard Discovery. Supposedly the installers are going to come back and fix the issues, but with how many issues keep popping up, I have my doubts. As it’s going now, I doubt this swing set will last more than a year or two. Despite the issues, my kids have a blast on it and will play for hours; although they are now restricted from the tube slide/balcony area. It’s very unfortunate that it’s quickly becoming a safety hazard, especially after paying $2,600 for it. I wish my kids could play on this as intended. It would be a great swing set if it weren't for all of the issues we are having.
