Normally I would build it myself from scratch, but for the price I figured I give it a shot. That way I do not have to draw blueprints and go out buy all the wood and hardware myself, which saves me a lot of time. I received the playground at a time I was extremely busy at work and knew I only had a couple of hours a day to work on it . The first day I put about 6h of work in, then I had 2 days I was only able to put in about 2-3. At that time it was pretty much finished, aside for some little stuff like the grill, sink, etc. So in total I put about 12h in by myself and it went fairly smooth. 2 pieces of advice:1. leave the wood on the boxes it came in, as there is a list of what is in which box. 2.sort your hardware, it will save you a lot of time looking for the right scews, or bolts, or whatever it calls for. In general it is good quality for the price, sometimes you do have to be careful putting screws in as they can be very close to the edges. Only had 2 pieces with a crack, but these were only designated to become table/trays, which obviously wasn't a big deal. Overall pretty satisfied.

This set came in 3 boxes labeled 1-3. We were thinking the wood would be in ordered since it was labeled 1-3. However, it was not. We had to dig throughout each box to find the right wood, which slowed up the process. Also, the would was labeled with black markings, for example J5, H13, etc. This showed you the correct would to use. However, some of the markings were FADED so you really couldn’t tell which wood was correct. We had to look by the pictures in the instructions. It was a PAIN! It took 5 days to put together but it turned out great and my son loves it.

I wrote an initial positive review for this playset but it is now a year old and it is literally falling apart. We have a whole collection of broken pieces. We are going to have to inventory the parts and order replacements. It seems as if this may be a year thing.

This playground is worth every penny. It took a few weeks to be delivered. My husband and his helper put it together working on it 5-7 hours/day in three days. The price and the labor are worth the endless hours of entertainment it provides my six and three year old. We even had to buy solar powered spot lights so they could play on it until bath time. Do yourself a favor and just buy it! Have someone handy put it together.

We bought this a month ago and so far have been extremely pleased. I cannot put a time frame on assembly, as we started and then my husband and children got Covid so it was start and stop but assembly went very smoothly for us. We are amazed at the sturdiness and durability. Overall we give a full 5-star review.

We got this swing set for my son’s 3rd birthday. It states that it takes 11 hours to assemble, we were 6 days in before we got it together. Several boards were to short, some of the holes weren’t drilled out, and 1/3 of the boards split. We had to make our own boards out of 2x4’s which is the only strong boards in the whole swing set. The boards are so thin and brittle we wouldn’t let but a two kids on it at a time. Two were swinging and we could hear the board that connects the swing to the frame crackle as if it were being pulled away from the frame boards. I’m just sick to think of how much we paid for this box of match sticks and a few nut and bolts. Buyer beware, don’t buy from this company.

We are halfway through assembling this and have had so many issues with wood splitting when you screw into the pilot holes exactly as directed! The wood is so cheap, we aren't even sure if it'll be usable when we are done. The build time is 11 hours and we have been working on it for days because we actually had to take a day to wood glue the ladder pieces where they split so much to be able to screw the boards on.

My husband put this together entirely by himself. It says you need two people, but he was able to use some clamps and get it done on his own. It took about 25 hrs (spread out over a few days). He's tired and sore, but it turned out great. The quality is decent, although there are a few boards with cracks or chips (some small flaws). Our toddler is thrilled! It is definitely something that will grow with him for years to come. Overall, we are happy with our purchase! (We did buy a separate toddler swing and swapped out one of the lap swings for now)

After years of contemplating getting a swing set, we landed on this one due to all of the different features. We are not handy, so the $600 professional installation was a must for us because we wanted to make sure it was put together properly. The installers sent one man out to put it together. It took him about 8 hours the first day and about 4 hours the next day to finish. He was polite and professional, and worked very hard. He seemingly did a great job, or at least that’s what we thought. We were so happy with the swing set and the kids loved it. About a week after installation (Dec 2022), we started noticing issues, and new issues continue to appear daily. The most concerning being the whole balcony and tube slide area. The balcony is starting to droop down, which is an obvious safety concern, and we now have gapping and cracking in the tube slide, both at the top base where it connects to the balcony and in a part of the slide itself. We also discover new cracks throughout the wood on a regular basis. On top of the damage that’s occurring, even with the anchors, the structure of the swing set sways a concerning amount when my kids swing, even when they aren’t swinging at the maximum height that the swings would allow. My kids are 7 (70 lbs), 5 (39 lbs), and 2 (33 lbs), and it also constantly makes cracking and creaking noises when they play on it. They should be able to play on it freely, without us constantly worrying about further damage and safety issues. We reached out to Backyard Discovery, who did reply almost immediately to address our concerns; however, after reviewing the pictures they said it appears to be due to improper installation, so we were redirected to contact the installers, who were chosen by Backyard Discovery. Supposedly the installers are going to come back and fix the issues, but with how many issues keep popping up, I have my doubts. As it’s going now, I doubt this swing set will last more than a year or two. Despite the issues, my kids have a blast on it and will play for hours; although they are now restricted from the tube slide/balcony area. It’s very unfortunate that it’s quickly becoming a safety hazard, especially after paying $2,600 for it. I wish my kids could play on this as intended. It would be a great swing set if it weren't for all of the issues we are having.

Here we go - trying to see what the five year warranty will be like. We’re going into season 3 and boards are rotting and breaking making this play set unsafe. It was great for the first summer and then things started breaking etc. anyone else deal with the warranty yet and or rot?
