TU700D Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV (2020)

Software issues

i was so excited to upgrade my tv from an older samsung 55 inch to this new 65 inch uhd model. it works well and the picture is great and it even plays disney plus as the old one did not. however, everyday i have to reset the network settings and then reenter my wifi password or none of the smart hib apps will connect. for some reason it loses the connection to wifi and forgets the password. i try reconnecting butnitnwont until i do a network settings reset. so frustrating.

Joe Willis: Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. I am very sorry that you are experiencing network connection issues. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection: 1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m). 2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.) 3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test 4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again. 5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. Very thin and elegant design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The initial tv had issues it did not capture channels lots of pixilation and channels did not stay in one place...I exchanged it and, this one is excellent video quality and it works great. Sound quality needs improvement...too shallow otherwise very happy with unit

Great picture and quality

Make sure wireless connection is on before attempting to set up TV in the app; it doesn't work with the TV connected to internet with a cord. The remote syncs seamlessly to your existing cable provider box and existing apple TV without having to do anything.

HDMI Issues

i purchased this tv over 2 weeks ago and have yet to be able to get the hdmi features to work. i have tried everything and now they are sending someone out on friday 5/13. this is how long it has taken to get some help. i will keep you posted on if it gets fixed. besides that the picture is great and so is sound. i just can't get any other sources to work.

Clear Pic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After finally receiving our TV, we couldn't wait to get started. We unwrapped a Samsung 58" Class TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV. The driver warned us to let it warm to room temperature before plugging it in. We took that time to read the manual and learn about the features. The first thing we noticed was the lightweight of the TV compared to our old Samsung Projection TV. The picture quality was so clear, it is amazing. Now, we have never had a smart TV and assumed set-up would be difficult. Thanks to the tip to add the Smart Thing app to my phone, set-up was a breeze. It allowed us to sign into our accounts and it was fun to see the camping pictures on our large screen that we had just taken the day before. The design is contemporary and neat...it takes up half the space as our old tv. We still have not added our speakers because the sound quality is clear. That will be something we may consider in the future. It did take a while to figure out the remote but the home screen button allowed us to start over each time. The directional arrows let us jump around the screen to where we needed to navigate. I think more practice with the remote will uncover some shortcuts for us.

Wonderful Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to understand setup, both of assembly, and startup. A slightly confusing menu for first time Smart TV users, but takes little time getting used to. I use my TV mostly for gaming. It comes with a gaming mode which enhances video, and audio for specificly gaming use. You can have just about any video or audio app you wish for on it. One of the best TV experiences I've had.

This products color and detail is amazing!

The TV itself is sleek and elegant, it's a great addition to my family room. You can hide all the cords in the TV stand so it solves that problem for you. For a not so tech savvy person this is truly a smart TV and I would recommend this TV to anyone and everyone!

Great Price but functionality not very good

when using smartthings or tapview more than 1/2 the time it won't connect. phone is a s20 when things work its great, but more than 1/2 the time it doesn't. when accessing apps it randomly goes to the source connection page & makes me switch back to home screen this happens no matter if it is idle or i'm going through apps or samsung tv to get what i want, even in the middle of shows, also is constantly trying to turn on the hdmi devices i unplugged them so it wont do it anymore & i get errors that the devices aren't connected & this happens in home screen, apps & the samsung tv channels. i've reset the tv twice & its fine for a day or 2 then starts again. i've gone through settings & cant find anything to stop this i'm not very happy with this tv

Totally took our TV experience to another level!
